Am I a Candidate for Non Surgical Rhinoplasty? (photo)

I am unhappy with my profile as well as the off center appearance of my nose from a frontal view. Could non-surgical rhinoplasty correct these problems?

A: After in-person evaluation, you may be a candidate for a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty treatment.

I read your concerns and reviewed your photos which are of poor quality:

You have a nice angle between your nose and upper lip, and your tip has acceptable projection and rotation. Injectable fillers above your bump may improve your nasal-profile and provide a straighter nasal-appearance.

Your frontal photo may reveal an indentation of your left mid-bridge. This may be filled to provide a straighter appearance.

My experience is exclusively with Silikon-1000, an off-label filler for permanent results.

Hope this helps.

Will Fillers Improve my Rhinoplasty Result?

I am a 21 year old female who is 4 weeks post-op primary rhinoplasty. I had my bump shaved down and deviated septum corrected. I have been left with an up-turned very swollen bulbous tip and seriously short nose - (I actually liked my nose length better before) and it is very ski-sloped which I hate! How long should I wait before considering injectable fillers and will they fix this? Are there any side-effects? How long do they last? Is it better to wait and have a revision? Thank you

A: You may be a candidate for a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty to raise the height of your bridge after previous surgery. Video attached.

I read your concern:

Your swollen bulbous tip will improve over the year. If your bridge is too low, you may be a candidate for a filler treatment. Like Dr. Barnett, my filler of choice in the nose is Silikon-1000, an off-label filler for permanent results.

Depending on your condition, you may be a candidate for a treatment.

Feel free to re ask your question with photos.

Hope this helps.

Non-Surgical Nose Job At 16, too Young?

Hi. I will be turning 16 in a few months. I've really put a lot of thought into this & I think I really want a non-surgical nose job. I've heard about it & it sounds great! I am planning on using the Artefill filler. I want permanent results. Also, I have an Aquiline ("hooked") nose. I want to remove the nose bump. Do you recommend that I get my non-surgical nose job now? Will it affect my facial growth, since I'm supposedly still growing? Or, should I wait until I'm 18? I really want it now.

A: Depending on your condition, 16 may not be too young for a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty procedure.

I read your concern:

Your age is not the main concern for consideration of a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty. If your nasal bump is too large, fillers will not be helpful and could make your nose look larger. You may want to ask your question again with photos. A frontal and side photo would be helpful.

I have no personal experience with Arte-Fill, but I do not have a favorable opinion of this filler. You should make sure your doctor is experienced in the delicate art of using fillers in the nose, and you should make sure your doctor can manage any complications that could result from such a procedure.

In my practice, I prefer to use Silikon-1000, an off-label filler for permanent results.

Hope this helps.
