Fat Grafting Candidate With Extremely Thin Skin Under Eye?

I have fair, thin and translucent skin under my eye, but have hollowing I would like to fix with fat grafting. Is it possible to have a good outcome in someone with super thin skin. Will the fat show through my see through skin?

A: Well-performed Injectable Filler treatments may be employed to reduce the appearance of lower eyelid hollowing.

I read your concern:

In my practice, Silikon-1000, an off-label filler for permanent results, may be used to correct lower eyelid hollowing. Thin skin may increase your risk of bruising or experiencing visible product at your injection site.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Unhappy With Chin Implants- Will Fat Transfer Change The Look?

I have had two different chin implants and it still doesn't look right? My doctor is not wanting to remove the implant to place another one. He states it's not a good idea to keep removing and placing chin implants due to the erosion of my bone. He is suggesting fat injections to correct what i dislike. Basically i want my chin to be continues. Currently that is not the case and it looks like I have a dent on each side of my chin. Is it common practice to do both chin and fat injection?

A: A well-performed Injectable Filler treatment may be used to fill the indentations on both sides of your chin implant.

I read your concern and reviewed your photo:

You have a nice result after your 2nd chin implant, and you should leave revision surgery as a last resort. You have typical indentations in between your chin and jowls on both sides. I have had good success filling these areas (pre-jowl sulci) with Silikon-1000, an off-label filler for permanent results.

You could have fat injections to these areas, but that would likely involve a higher cost, and more downtime.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Can I Use my Own Fat to Fill my Tear Troughs?

Will fat grafting work to fill my tear troughs? Also what to do about loose skin under the eye?

A: A well-performed Injectable Filler treatment may be used to improve your tear trough.

In my practice, lower eyelid grooves (tear troughs) are managed with Injectable Fillers. My personal preference is to use Silikon-1000, an off-label filler for permanent results. You should make sure your physician is skilled in the delicate art of filling lower eyelid skin as this area is not forgiving.

Lower eyelid wrinkles are a difficult problem, and a pinch-blepharoplasty is considered as a last resort in select patients.

I hope this is helpful for you.
