From his gentle bedside manner to his matchless surgical skill, I am insanely satisfied I chose Dr. Joseph. I chose him after doing years of research online and going to different consultations. I'm really glad I was patient enough to find him. I have been considering rhinoplasty since my early teens, but I wanted to do plenty of research and give myself ample time to make the right choice. Some renowned doctors in the NYC area were charging $12,000+, but their before/after photos didn’t hold a candle to Dr. Joseph’s beautiful and natural looking results. All of Dr. Joseph’s patients gave him 5 stars and I thought, “This could be too good to be true”. However, I can assure you that he deserves all the praise he is receiving from his clients. Dr. Joseph was so kind through the whole process, answered all my questions, and gave me realistic expectations. What’s more, he has a wonderful sense of humor and puts a smile on my face every time I see him. When I was nervous before the surgery, he held my hand and assured me he has everything under control. It was nice to know I was in confident and competent hands. When I opened my eyes after the surgery, he was there to assure me that the surgery went very well. He encouraged me to call his cell phone if I have any concerns. I am pleased to say there has never been a time when he was too busy to take my call. Dr. Joseph really cares about his patients and I am impressed how he remembers details I’ve told him about my family and myself. I am extremely happy with my result and I couldn’t be more thankful to Dr. Joseph. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face. If you’re on the fence about which surgeon to choose, definitely go see Dr. Joseph for a consultation and see for yourself how wonderful he really is.

Dr. Joseph has a passion for rhinoplasty. He loves making people look their best, and has a talent for giving people noses that are the right shape and size for their face. He really cares about his patients as people, spends time with them, and even gives out his cell phone number in case you need to reach him. After surgery, he does regular follow-up appointments (at no charge) and is nothing if not dedicated to your complete happiness with the final result. His office staff is fabulous and I have experienced no wait time at all for appointments. Oh, and I have a beautiful, cute feminine nose! Overall, a 110% positive experience! A plethora of positive reviews online and some seriously beautiful before and after photos led me to Dr. Eric Joseph, but it was during my initial consultation that I singled out Dr. J as “the one” to do my procedure. This is a doctor who knows what he is doing, and better, loves what he’s doing. He has all the amenities of a lovely office staff, no wait time for appointments, and a fabulous personality, but what it really comes down to is how does the nose turn out in the end? Ladies and gentleman, what you see is what you get. Literally. A computerized mock-up photo of your nose as it will appear post-surgery is what you will receive from Dr. J. In fact, I am now one-month post-op and my nose looks even better than the original computerized photo. All the self-consciousness that I have endured for twenty years is GONE, and I have never felt so confident, happy and beautiful. If I was assured of finding Dr. Joseph years ago, I wouldn’t have waited so long! As a side note, I would like to add that the week I met with Dr. Joseph I was on the cusp of having 12 days off from work between year-end holidays. I wanted nothing more than to fit my surgery in during this time (and while I had the nerve to go through with it). Dr. Joseph made that happen. Additionally, I had never gone “under” for surgery before and the idea of anesthesia was frightening. Well, I would do it all over again! It was the easiest experience in the world; I woke up and I was done! In the end, let’s face it *pun intended*, rhinoplasty was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and in the hands of a master like Dr. Joseph, one that I will never regret.

Bedside manner was always perfect and so nice, made me feel so comfortable, gave me a nickname. Also, he's hilarious. Always made sure that all of my questions were answered, really took the time and never made me feel rushed. After care was wonderful, he even gives you a makeup kit to cover bruising and has a girl who shows you how to put it on, and the next visit that I come in I'll be getting a free microderm abrasion. Everyone who works in the office is absolutely lovely and professional. Never had a wait. Really have not one tiny complaint about anything. I was extremely thorough in my search for a doctor. I live in Manhattan, and I researched all of the best doctors in and outside of Manhattan for my surgery. I took consultations with 3 different doctors, one in Manhattan, one in White Plains, and Dr. Joseph. Everyone in Dr. J's office was extremely nice and professional, the place was clean and up to date, and I have never had a wait when I go in for my appointments. When I first met Dr. Joseph, he made me feel comfortable, he took the time to explain everything to me (and then again to my Mom who came with me on the pre-op visit). He did a computer imaging of what he would do to my nose (my nose looks even better than that now). And he told me that he was a perfectionist, that nose jobs are his passion, and that he usually ends up being more picky than his patients, and that after the surgery if there are tiny indentations, a little drop of silicone will fix it in a second (did end up needing a tiny bit because there was an indent in the top of my nose where my tip is still swollen, didn't hurt a bit and it's perfectly even). That made me feel so at ease! He has a wonderful energy and is basically the nicest doctor you'll ever meet. You can tell he really truly cares about his patients and what he does, and it's not all about money for him (at first he tried to deter me from getting a nose job because at first look he didn't think I needed one). He made me so excited, and took away all my nerves about having surgery. The other doctors I visited did not make me feel so welcome, one doctor had a creepy operating room in the back of his office. I just didn't feel as comfortable in any of the other offices. I got a good vibe from Dr. Joseph and knew that I would be in good hands. (Also, he's hilarious). During the pre-op visit, Dr. Joseph explained absolutely everything to my Mom and me in full detail, and gave me his cell phone number in case I needed anything. I was having trouble figuring out where to leave my car for the week because I was driving in from the city and meeting my Mom at the operating place, and he even offered to let me leave my car at his house.... that is how awesome he is. I would do it again in a second. Seriously, look no further. There is no one better than Dr. Joseph. I have not a complaint about ANYTHING. I truly could not have asked for a better experience, and I am so thankful.

When I met Dr. Joseph, he lived up to all of my expectations. He is funny, nice, caring, and spends plenty of time answering your questions. There was virtually no wait time. He put my mind at ease whenever I had a concern. Dr. Joseph uses computer imaging to show you what your new nose will resemble. After he simulated my new nose, he made sure to ask me if I loved it before we decided on what he would change. He never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable or stupid for asking a question. I decided that day to have my surgery on December 17th, during my winter break from school.

Dr. Joseph and his office team are truly all the great reviews read! Sometimes when it sounds too good to be true it usually is. But I am happy to say that Dr. Joseph and his staff are the GREAT exception to that truth! Gloria was the first friendly and welcoming face I saw. She is a true professional and very efficient. She had all the paperwork ready for me and Dr. Joseph. Not once out of the 4 times I visited did I feel my time was being wasted or that they were unprepared for my visit. She assist me with the bill processing. Something that many doctors told me from the beginning they will not even attempt to do. Barbara was always so pleasant and very quick to turn any negative into a positive. Even on the days that I was not so happy after being stuck in traffic and all the other stresses of a hectic schedule, Barbara’s warmth soften me. Diana is a very pleasant young lady who assisted me to make the best out of the complimentary gifts I received after the surgery. I really enjoyed the tips she had to share and having a “girlie” moment to relax after all the “seriousness” of preparing for my surgery To be honest I have no idea what these ladies positions were but they were all absolutely competent in what they did and create a very warm atmosphere in Dr .Joseph’s office. The ambulatory care center was very cleaned. Everyone was just as pleasant and caring as in Dr’s Joseph office. My sister loved the high tech computer system that updates you on the stage of the operation for the patient that you are waiting on. Finally- Dear Dr. Joseph!- He is a GENIUS in this industry. Yes GENIUS!! Only a genius Doctor can have the interpersonal skills and technical skills at a level of 110% like he does. Everything on the” Excellent” reviews is true about him. I kid you not…he met the expectations of it all!!! I have a beautiful “Barbie” nose but naturally looking and asymmetrical with my face! At times of the consultation visits I challenged him and I expressed whatever disagreements. He handle it with confident and respectfully. I did not have to ask many questions with Dr Joseph- he met with family members. Made them feel at ease. He explained in detailed what I would think, see and feel, before, during ,and after surgery… during the 6 week period I noticed a slight indentation in my nose and I could see where the cartlidge graph was inserted. Dr Joseph with great confidence said “you have a lot of swelling, lets take a look at it in 3mos”. The honest truth was that I was terrified it would not subside…well I should have known better…just like he said is gone!!! Is that experience or what? Dr. Joseph operated on me on his normally day off. I am the chick with an agenda pre written for the year. I said to Dr. Joseph on the second visit that if he did not get me in the OR in March then it was just not going to happen for me this year. He got me in…and I still experienced the personalized call late in the evening that all the reviews talk about. He spoke to my sister and informed her well of what I should eat, do and not do, may happen and will not happen- all this even while it was already given to us in writing. What a sincere act of care! The fact that I don’t endorse or do reviews on anything and now I’m writing an “essay” of Dr. Joseph and staff (LOL) should tell you send the message about what type of doctor he is! Ultimately, if you want a doctor that you can trust that he will be honest about what he can do; educate you on the realistic results of plastic surgery; outstanding at what he does and give you results natural beautifying results; and is sincerely caring about his patients…Dr. Joseph is the doctor to meet! He asked that I visit him in 3 mos; 6mos; 1year after the surgery. I made it to 3mos visit. I am not going back as much as I would love to chat with them for a minute. I am absolutely pleased with my results and there is nothing to say if I go back but “Thank you!” “That I pray that he never changes and he can continue to bless those who truly are in need of these surgery because of some trauma in their life” “And that him, staff members, and families receive all the deserve blessing for their work” Rut 2:12 “That I look forward to the day that my God will bring end it to the insanity of this world and replace it with the one mentioned in Rev. 21:3,4” “But until then its great to know people like him and his staff!”

Dr Joseph has a passion and is truly talented – especially in the operating room performing rhinoplasty surgery. He really has the gift of making the one thing I didn’t like about myself and turning it into something beautiful. Dr Joseph is just a lovely doctor and person. He is welcoming, friendly, honest, understanding, and a true gentleman from the moment I first met him. He was never pushy to do more and was always available- even on his cell phone the night after surgery! Dr Joseph is also very educated – I mean this is a doctor that teaches other doctors in his field to do what he does! Besides that he is an ENT, who performs many rhinoplastys a year and let’s just say- definitely knows a thing or two about the nose itself! He really takes the time to meticulously create a beautiful nose for every patient he has. As you can seen in his before and after photos (which I had personally gone through hundreds over months while searching for a doctor) all of his are natural and perfectly fitting for each person. From start to finish was a nothing but a pleasant experience. His office staff were friendly and down to earth; the ambulatory surgery center was new, clean and the staff were wonderful. Even the nurses loved working with Dr Joseph because how meticulous he is on the OR and how kind he is as well. I literally had no pain, just some pressure on my face afterward just as he expected me to. I am happily writing this about Dr Joseph hoping someone else will come across his reviews as I had and go see him! Like anyone, it is nervous and scary thinking about changing something on your face but I am more than thrilled with the result and overall experience of getting this done. Also proud to say I have finally started living life without being self conscious about the one thing that has always bothered me! Dr. Eric Joseph and his staff did absolutely everything in their power to make me feel comfortable and reassured. They completely rearranged their schedule to fit me in since I had time constraints. As for the actual results, Dr. J did MORE than he said he could. I couldn't be happier with the results. I respect Dr. J because he won't do procedures he doesn't agree with. If it doesn't think it is in your best interests or if he thinks it won't look good, he won't do it. He worked with me to develop the perfect nose FOR ME. Even the day of cast removal with all the swelling, I couldn't ask for me! I am so excited to see what it will look like after a year of healing. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Joseph for Rhinoplasty. Not only did he provide an excellent surgical experience, but he truly cares about his patients afterwards. He and his wife provided me with a makeup/care kit to deal with the unfortunate side effects after the cast is removed (bruising/swelling/greasy skin). They also offer a free microdermabrasion session after your one month checkup to refresh your skin. I can't praise this office enough. They care about their patients and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable each step of the way. I drove over 2 hours to have him do my surgery and am moving to NC next month and will have to come up to NJ for my checkups but it is worth every mile!! I couldn't imagine a better doctor !

Photo gallery, personal reviews, and even watching his youtube video where he explains the procedure, further calming anxieties before you even meet him in person! I researched many surgeons in more than one state, and finally decided on Dr. Joseph because of his outstanding results and wonderful bedside manner. The proof is truly in the pictures, and I know personally that there are many successful pictures that are not even in his gallery (like my own). From the very beginning, Dr. Joseph calmed my fears and I knew I had made the right choice. He is truly the best. Dr. Joseph really took the time to understand what I was looking for, contributed his own expertise, until we decided exactly what it was that I wanted. He does this visually by taking pictures of your face from different angles, so there is no chance of misunderstanding. I was so relieved that he wasn't rushing me out the door to see his next patient. He really listened to my concerns, and through the use of his digital technology was able to visually demonstrate the slight differences that really change a successful result to an excellent one. You can truly rely on Dr. Joseph. He is extremely meticulous, with a great eye for what is beautiful and the technique to follow through. From start to finish, there was never any doubt in my mind that I had chosen the right surgeon! I am thrilled with Dr. Joseph and my result.

With the idea set in my mind, I researched countless surgeon's. I must have looked up every surgeon in a 3 hour range from my home in New York. I ended up making consultation appts with two surgeon's, Dr. Joseph in West Orange, NJ (2 hours from where I live), as well as a surgeon in my town. I went to Dr. Joseph's appt about a week before my other consultation, and left Dr. Joseph's office so pleased, that I called and cancelled my second consult. It may have been smart to meet with more than 1 surgeon, but Dr. Joseph and his staff and all the info i got out of my appt reassured me that I was making the right decision by going through with this and choosing Dr. Joseph. His staff was very friendly, and welcoming. Dr. Joseph was great, confident in his work but realistic about the anticipated outcome. I really felt like we were on the same page. We also did photo imaging to see a projected post-op image. With all that information, I confidently booked my surgery and then had to impatiently wait about 10 months. I scheduled my surgery to be 2 days after my college graduation on December 19th.

A few months ago I began searching for a surgeon to consult and hopefully correct the issues I had with my nose. I came across Eric M. Joseph's website and his RealSelf reviews and was pleased with his surgeries. There was a broad diversity of patients, and each surgery catered to that person's particular needs and face. Subtle, natural corrections. That was exactly what I needed. I called his office (his staff is friendly) and made and appointment for a consultation. I researched a bit on "Ethnic Rhinoplasty" and had realistic expectations. Trust is more important than anything when having someone alter what you breath with, and one of the first things a person sees when talking to you. So any inkling that I was nothing more than a paycheck would have had me consulting with a different practice. But with Dr. Joseph, is was QUITE the opposite. Dr. Joseph unhesitantly told me that although the functional aspect of my issue (deviated septum) would be corrected, I had thick skin, the shape of my face warranted very minor changes that would be barely noticeable to anyone other than myself and possibly immediate family, and that swelling would be prolonged and results would take longer to see. He told me, the unrestrained TRUTH and that's when I knew I wouldn't have to speak to anyone else.

I've been eying up Dr.Joseph for over a year. I found him right after I had my first surgery..go figure. I had a feeling that I had a bad surgery but waited out the year in hopes it would change. I knew after finding Dr.Joseph that he had to be my next doctor and meeting him confirmed it. He as well as his office staff are just amazing. My first surgeon completely took my confidence and Dr.Joseph gave it back. I can't believe how good my nose looks after just a week with being swollen. I can't imagine how good it's going to look in a month. Dr.Joseph is one of my best decisions I've ever made.

I finally met Dr. Joseph in April 2012 for a consultation. Instantly, I knew by Dr. Joseph telling me “we are going to be friends” that he was the right doctor to fix the mess left by another doctor. Dr. was wonderful to work with, from the consultation to the surgery to the follow-up appointments. He was practical and honest and made me feel very comfortable and informed throughout the process. He is an ENT, as well, which I believe is a plus. I also think his fee was extremely reasonable. I live in NYC and I was disgusted at some of fees quoted for very "operated on" looking results here in Manhattan. Dr. J's staff has also been lovely to work with.

I could easily provide examples to each of the categories listed. Impeccable experience. I chose Dr. Joseph based upon a referral from a friend who had been a patient of Dr. Joseph. Upon a recommendation from a friend who is savvy in the plastic surgery world, I booked a consultation with Dr. Eric Joseph. Of course, this was after reading all that I could about Dr. Joseph’s education, experience, presence in ongoing education, the happiness of his clients, basically anything google-able. The glowing reports found online paled in comparison to the experience I have had as a client. I was looking for a current, cutting-edge surgeon, a warm office environment, and a streamlined process to navigate. I found all of the above with Dr. Joseph. I greatly appreciated the thoroughness in which he descripted the pre, surgical, and post surgery process. He was extremely patient in answering my questions (burdensome, at the least). His demeanor both instilled confidence in the decision and put me at ease. He could not have been more reachable, approachable and engaged with the process. His proactive nature mitigated my need to call him. I have not only been thrilled with the results, but more importantly, the entire patient experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Joseph.

I am 100% satisfied. From the first meeting with Dr. Joseph, I could tell he was a genuine, honest, and caring doctor. I have thick skin and he was honest that the tip of my nose wouldn’t look exactly like the computerized image as a result of the thick skin. I also asked him if I needed to have a chin implant along with the Rhinoplasty, since this was suggested by two of the NY doctors I had previously seen. He said no way, and made a comical comment with his answer. I must add Dr. Joseph is very funny! After our very informative consultation, he gave me a price breakdown and told me there was rush with my decision. In the contrary, even until now, I still receive harassing phone calls and e-mails from the other doctors I did not choose. Based on my comfort level, trust, and Dr. Joseph’s bedside manners, I was confident he was my number one choice for my surgery. His staff was also very sweet and helpful throughout the entire process. In my pre-op visit, Dr. Joseph said he would call to check up on me on the night of the surgery. He even gave me his cell phone number and stressed that if I had any questions, I can call him at any time. On the night of the surgery he called as he mentioned. These 6 months were filled with compliments, confidence, and an abundance of picture taking. All because of the wonderful Dr. Joseph!

After doing a lot of online research (looking at galleries, reviews, qualifications), I finally came across Dr. Joseph. At first, I was wary of the overwhelmingly positive reviews, but upon meeting Dr. Joseph in the first consultation I was convinced that he was the perfect surgeon for the procedure. Dr.Joseph is extremely passionate about his job, friendly, and very honest throughout the whole process. I was terrified on the day of the surgery, but Dr. Joseph and the surgical staff made me feel right at home. Later that day, Dr. Joseph called to check-in on me and encouraged me to call him directly if I had any questions or issues. He first likes to know what the expectations of the patient is & then give a realistic assessment of what could be achieved and what different options we have. I came across him after reading a numerous good reviews on realself.com. Before that I had consulted a couple of doctors but didn't get the kind of confidence I was looking for to jump into a surgery right away. He did not try to convince me or rush me into the surgery. Thats what I really liked about him. I will definitely recommend Dr Joseph to everyone !!! Best of Luck.

If I could rate Dr. Eric M Joseph more than 5 stars, i would rate him 10 stars because he truely is the perfect plastic surgeon I have ever come across. Not only is he and his work amazing but his staff is so kind and helpful which is why I believe Dr. Joseph is so successful. All of them made my experience amazing and i couldnt ever thank them enough. Im so happy i chose Dr. Joseph!
