hello =), So I went to the doctor and he saw my nose,he told me he's gonna define the bridge and reduce a bit from the tip making it a bit higher... and he told me it's going to be closed rihnoplasty. Would i see result right after removing the cast ? because i heard some people say it would be bigger than what expected until almost 3 months . and when can i return to play sports such as : tennis, horseback riding *jumping* , cycling etc..
In general major changes to the nose show immediately when the splint is removed. However the final result can take months because of the swelling in the soft tissues. In general its good to refrain from sports which require exertion for 6-8 weeks since this can increase the swelling in the nose however you should always check with your surgeon for specific guidelines in this area.
I just had Rhinoplasty, Septoplasty, and Turbinoplasty about 8 days ago. This was to help with my breathing, but mainly for my interest in removing the hump i had on the bridge of my nose. I had open nose surgery for a more accurate procedure. I am just worried though the day he removed my cast and splints my nose was perfectly straight from what i can see but the next day when he removed the thin layer of tape on my nose i had a slight hump. I am worried but don't know if this is just swelling?
This looks like it is minor enough that it should resolve as the swelling goes down. Infortunately it is too soon to tell. If this hump is still there after about 3 months or so..then it may not go down that much more. Just let your surgeon be aware of this issue for you and he or she can follow this along with you.
Good luck

I've done a lot of research, but I'm not sure how difficult the procedure would be. Please review my picture and give me an idea. Thank you!
Rhinoplasty is one the most challenging procedures that we perform in plastic surgery. Your issue is certainly not complicated but there are many nuances to this type of surgery. I do not like to characterize nose reshaping surgery as complicated or easy for that matter. In rhinoplasty surgery, correcting one thing may have an impact on another issue...so the key is that the surgeon that you chose should be well versed in all aspects of rhinoplasty. Good luck.
