I had my lips injected with Juviderm, two full vials, and some was added to my folds. The effect was great in the office. But it's August, 4 months later and my lip is pretty much gone. Not worth it. It was very very painful too, and I had bad bruising. It took a month for my lips to look normal, not swollen and bruised, but the effect only lasted 2 months. more
I was expecting much more pain, swelling, and bruising , it was quick and painless ( I tolerate pain pretty well). I just iced my lips for a little bit and got half syringe for the first time. No black and blues , just a bit swelling. Will post more, after few days. Today is only day 1 :) p.s. I do get cold sore on my lips often so after the procedure doctor prescribed me Voltrex . more
After having success with other cosmetic procedures using the same doctor,I decided to try juvederm under my eyes. I bruised terribly which disappeared after two long weeks, but for some reason it caused terrible swelling under my eyes. Juvederm was wonderful for the "parenthesis" around my mouth. I was not pleased however with Juvederm under my eyes. Under my left eye I was left with a huge bump for a couple of months and I now have what appears to be permanent bruising under my eyes! I have taken all the arnica I can with no help. I constantly look like I have been beat up!! I never had this prior to the juvederm... more
Had Botox in my forehead and frown lines. (I know this will take a couple of days to see results) And had Juvaderm in the nasolabial folds and in my upper lip. The Botox didn't hurt at all, the Juvaderm just stung a bit. I had no numbing cream or injection. I found it very tolerable. I was happy immediately.
My Dr. is pretty conservative whereas she'd rather have me in for a touch-up... more
