I decided to get invisalign to fix my crowded lower teeth. Ive had retainers, braces, then retainers again and my teeth always manage to shift. I have only been using Invisalign for two months now and already see improvement. I always had straight teeth, but I've noticed crowding the last 4-5 years. Now 50ish..I decided that if I "have to" get old, I don't have to have crooked teeth too.

I am 58 and I had braces as a kid. Around age 35, my wisdom teeth shifted my upper teeth. As I aged, my front teeth started to get an overjet AGAIN! My lower teeth shifted with age and got crowded. I am a 29 year old Invisalign patient. I needed them for severe crowding on the bottom, and what I have labeled, a "swing tooth" on the top.I have to be honest - I can't stand the feeling of the aligners! I'm on week three and so far so good. The first few days I wanted to crawl out of my skin. It felt like I ate a plate of ribs and had stuff stuck inbetween EVERY SINGLE TOOTH. I only need a lower tray, thankfully. Basically, Invisalign is a little uncomfortable almost all the time - but you just suck it up and deal with it and then it is no big problem (whadayya think?
