I had breast cancer 12 years ago, and was Not happy with the reconstruction, I was recommended to Doctor Schwartz, and it was the Best Thing that could have happened to me. I have Confidence in wearing certain clothing that I was not able to wear in the past, He corrected a problem that resulted from the original reconstruction, and I am Now extremely Happy. more

I had breast cancer and had to have reconstruction. I did a TRAM flap instead of implants and now I have a flat stomach. The nipple reconstruction looks great. I don't think anyone would ever realize that I had a mastectomy. more
I did not consider any cons at the time. All I knew was: I may die from cancer soon, and if I'll survive, I wanted to look "normal" after bilateral mastectomy. I was not told about life of the implants, about MRIs to check them,etc.
