After A Breast Reduction, Will Weight Gain Come Back To Breasts?

i had a breast reduction when i was 16 years old im now 21 and gained 35lbs since then all of which not in my breast. is it true that after you have this surgery that if you gain weight you will gain it in other place and also im starting a weight loss journey and was wondering will i loss more weight in my now.

A: Weight gain after breast reduction Both breast tissue and fatty tissue are removed during a breast reduction. After surgery, should you gain weight, the fatty tissue left (and there is always some left) can grow as your body will store the fat in any and all areas it is "accustomed" to. So, yes, your breasts can increase in size with weight gain, even after a reduction.

Which Form of Breast Reduction is Best?

I Am Wondering What Would Be the Best Breast Reduction Surgery for Me, I Am 5'4 About 170lbs. I Have Severe Back and Shoulder pain. When I remove my bra i have deep indentions in my shoulders. I also tend to slouch because of how heavy the breasts are. My bra size is 40DDD or larger not sure im wearing the correct bra size.. Thank you

A: Best Breast Reduction There are many different surgical techniques described to reduce breast size. The most popular are the Wise pattern (or upside down T) and the Lejour or vertical scar (also known as a lollipop). The "best" procedure for you depends upon your anatomy and your individual goals.

Can I Lose Weight to Get Smaller Breasts?

I am 21yrs old. I'm 5'1'' and 135lbs. My breasts are a size 34G. I lost some weight and went from an H to a G. Will I be able to lose weight to get down to a DD or even a DDD. My back, neck, and shoulder are constantly in pain. Exercising and everyday activities are uncomfortable, and it's also taking a large toll on my self esteem.

A: Weight Loss and Breast Size

Your weight will definitely affect your breast size. As you gain weight, you'll breasts will get larger and as you lose weight your breasts will get smaller.  That said, based on your current breast size, it is unliklely that you will be able to get breasts as small as you desire with weight loss alone. You are likely to need either a reduction and/or a breast lift.
