Will I Have Dramatic Results from Vaser Lipo?

I am having Vaser Lipo on 5/19. I did my homework and found a very good board certified PS. My question is the results, I am just not sure what kind of change to expect. I would like to have my love handles GONE and my stomach alittle flatter.. is that a reasonable expectation?

My PS said the surgery is going to take approx. 3 hrs and he considered it large volume Lipo. I will post a picture with my meaurments. Any advice of what to expect is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A: Vaser Liposuction

From you photograph is looks like you may have some extra skin as well. Have you had children? The result will be based on a combination of fat removal and skin tightening. Good luck.

How to Differentiate Between a Seroma and an Untreated Pocket of Fat After Vaser Lipo?

I am at week 4 post op after vaser lipo on all abdo, flanks and bra-line. Generally I'm very happy, however as the swelling has reduced I notice I have an oblong section of 'swelling' on my lower ab area. It seems to be fairly fluid like and there is no pain involved. However I'm unsure if this is a seroma or a pocket of fat that the surgeon may have missed. Can you provide some more indications of how to determine this? I had this done overseas, so a follow up visit isn't possible.

A: vaser liposuction

Your plastic surgeon will need to examine you. It really is to early to start looking for untreated fat. At 4 weeks you have significant swelling and edema. Go back and show your concerns to your plastic surgeon.

Can I Go on Holidays (Planes Involved!) Three Weeks After Vaser?

I had Vaser yesterday (tummy and flanks) and I didn't take any painkillers as I am in no pain whatsoever, just feeling uncomfortable from wearing the compression pads (which I will be taking off in 6 days). Although I am feeling absolutely fine and I have hardly any swelling or bruising, will three weeks be enough to recover enough to go on holiday? I will of course be wearing the compression garment and it is a city-visiting kind of trip.

A: Vaser liposuction Three weeks after baser liposuction if you are having no problems you should be able to travel. Long flights should be avoided
