Can Hair Transplants Look Natural? What Areas Can Be Used as Donor Hair?

Fine Hairs are needed at the sides of my forehead to make it appear that my forehead is less wide than it actually is. I prefer not to use the back of my scalp as the donor site. Are there any other candidates for this? Like maybe leg hair or even armpit hair?

A: Hair transplant can be Natural I agree with you that having hairs implanted on the side of your scalp should make your forehead seem less wide. However , as to where to get the grafts from, that can only be done in a consultation. My associate, Dr Pistone is a world renowned hair transplant surgeon whose work creates a natural hairline- not like the 'old doll transplants'. You can see the pictures on The attached link under hair transplants . We have 8 offices in the area so we can tell you in person the best donor areas. The areas you mentioned- leg and armpit - do not have the same texture and do not provide for appropriate hair density. The consultation is free for viewers of real self . Good luck !

Which Breast Lifting Technique Would Be Most Suitable? (photo)

I have consulted a board certified PS & am in process of scheduling the surgery. Dr. has said for perkiest look go for a full lift w/ augmentation, and for a more natural look go with a donut lift w/ augmentation. Below are photos of the look I'm after & my own breasts. I know "perky" and "natural" have different definitions depending on each person. Which lifting would bring mine to the same position and shape? I know all breasts are different, I am simply going for that "style" in the pics

A: type or mastopexy

As you can see from the first three entries you are going to get a wide variety of suggestions. My philosophy has moved towards the least amount of scar I can possibly produce. The periareolar or Benelli lift them my favorite for a good number of years now. As you see from previous posts a lot of people do not like it. Often these are people who do not use the technique regularly. Find someone around you that offers that operation and does a lot of it and see what you think. You could easily go back a year later if necessary and put in a small implant. Good luck with your decision

The Nurse Said Dont Get the Bandage Wet After Sclerotherapy, Why is That?

i did vericose vein sclerotherapy and the new told me not to get the bandage wet why is that?

A: Don't get bandages wet It's best for you to call the office who performed the procedure on you. Patients should never be embarrassed to ask questions. There are many reasons why your doctor may want you to not get the bandages wet. Wet bandages do not compress well. The wetness may irritate the skin . Wetness may make it hard to remove a bandage. It could also cause adhesive to fall off. The list goes on . Good luck.
