33y/o Female, 23BMI, Lost 165lb, Want LBL. Lose 10lb After Lift Okay? Not Skin Fr LBL, WL. I had duodenal switch weight loss surgery. I'm still slowly losing weight due to activity level. Bariatric dr estimated likely lose another 20lb between months 18 - 24 bariatric procedure post-op; however, had a significant AC Joint injury so can't exercise much right now, thus stopped losing weight & have maintained for last 6 wks at 23 BMI post-op mo. 19. Given injury healing time, I guess I will lose another 10 - 15lb instead. Opinions on LBL at post-op mo. 22? OK if lose 10lb after LBL?
It is always best to reach your ideal weight although a 10 lb weight loss is not significant. you will loose some weight with the lower body lift. Good luck
I am a 49 year old male, who has lost 245 LBS, I have seen four doctors, two think I could get by with a tummy tuck, one thinks a lower body lift, the other a tummy tuck with a horizontal cut. I have had three past surgeries for hernia repair, only one doctor said he would like to see reports from those surgeries. I like him and the one who would do a lower body lift and tummy tuck, he is also much cheaper, will have chest done as well, here is my photo any advise would be nice.
It really is difficult to determine without looking at your back and buttocks. If there is adequate tighness posteriorly than an tummy tuck or fleur de lis abdominoplasty may be good.
Hello, I had Lipo done on all areas of my legs 1.5 years ago. I also had a BA I am very happy with. However, my Lipo left excess skin and folds on my thighs. My PS already expected I would need to come back for a TL. My question is, what type of procedure will I most benefit from? If I can get a TT as well, I will get that too. My biggest concern is my thighs. If getting my TT means not getting the inner thighs done, then I would rather have my inner thighs and leave my tummy alone.
I usually will avoid performing a thigh lift at the same time as a tummy tuck. The complication rate with thigh lift is high and an infection that might connect to the abdomen could be a significant complication.
