Debating 286cc Vs 304cc Natrelle Implants For My 34A Frame.

I'm 5'5" and 130lbs with a 32" ribcage wearing a 34A that I barely fill. I'm getting implants in 2 weeks and my doctor initially recommended 304cc implants. I'm worried its going to make me top heavy and my boyfriend is convinced if I get the 304's that I will look fake and is pressing for the 286's for the "natural" look. I'm agonizing over this decision to the point of obsession. My doctor is wonderful, but very hands off in the decision making part. Need help PLEASE

A: 286CC implants vrs 304CC implants

Dear distressed damsel, distress no more.  The difference between to 2 implnts you mention is so minor as to make very little diffference in your outcome.  Ask your plastic surgeon if you can try on a sample  implant in the office as this my make you feel more comfortable with your decision.  Neither size  will make you look top heavy or fake considering your ht and wt and both should creat natural proportioned results.  Good Luck

Would Like 700cc Implants, Why are Some Doctors Against That Size? (photo)

So I had a consultation with my PS. I tried on 700 cc sizers and he said I could do 700s (I LOVED them). By reading alot of Q&A's on here I found that most PS's on here are against implants 600+ ... if they are damaging or bad why would my PS recommend them for me? He is board certified and has worked on 4 of my girlfriends and they have amazing results so I want to say he is experienced. Im just confused any help is appreciated!

A: How big a breast augmentation can I get. 700 cc? The size of the breast implant is usually decided based on measurements of your breasts, your tissue elasticity and chest wall shape. As the implants get bigger they also get wider. When the tissues are less elastic certain distances don't change. For example the distance between the midline over your sternum and the nipple. A lager implant has to gain room more on the sides of your chest and the nipples would not be centered on the breast. This is how the dimensions of your chest, breast and the quality of your tissue dictate size. In general the larger you are, the larger breast implant you can tolerate. If you try to bend these rules you may get away with it occasionally but the incidence of complications becomes higher. I hope this exploitation is clear to you and will help you understand the principles behind the reluctance of most plastic surgeons recommending larger implants.

Right Breast Got Swollen After 4 Months, GP Thinks It's Infected?

I had breast agumention 4 months ago. everything went well apart from the right, The scar heal really well but it was getting painful hard and smaller than the left. I spoke to my surgeon he said to give it time. a month later it bacame soft and nomal like the other.just starting to get use f my new bust size.dalima strikes again. it got swollen. my GP gave me antibiotic and said I have an infection . what did I do if I hit it.I told her,I just stared to use the Gym 2 weeks ago. What is going on

A: My right breast got swallen after 4 months, possible infection. There is no question that you should see your plastic surgeon immediately and should know that an infection around a breast implant needs to be cared for urgently. I also know that you are trying to understand what is going on. Here is some answers: Breast infections after augmentation declare them selves by increased swelling but also redness and pain or tenderness. There are lower grade infections that can miss some of the signs mentioned above. If an infection develops the breast implant would have to be removed, the area allowed to heal and another implant inserted several months later. It is also possible that you have a fluid collection called a seroma which is less serious. A complete history and physical examination by an experienced plastic surgeon is mandatory to determine if there is an infection and how to take care of it. Don't take this lightly and see your doctor or if you don't get a proper response seek other opinions.
