Face and Neck Lifts
Throughout my career, I’ve performed over 3,000 facelift surgeries with dramatic yet natural results. After either a facelift or mini lift, my patients look refreshed and youthful—not overdone or plastic. During each personalized procedure, I consider the patient’s unique aging pattern and individual facial volume and bone structure. I use advanced techniques to improve the elevation of the cheeks, tightness of the jawline, appearance of the neck, depth of the nasal/marionette folds, and looseness of the skin and muscles. In many cases, I may incorporate a cheek lift, to address muscle looseness. At my practice in Wall Township, New Jersey, I also offer facial rejuvenation procedures such as neck lift, brow lift, and facial fat transfer, to help you look your best. All of these procedures are performed under a local anesthetic, so you won’t experience the initial “comedown” of general anesthesia or any lingering effects.

Dr. Mark Karolak has been a facial plastic surgeon in Wall Township, New Jersey for over a decade. Board certified in both otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery, he has performed over 3,000 facelifts under local anesthesia, as well as thousands of other facial cosmetic procedures, including neck lifts, eyelid surgery, fat transfer, facial sculpting, Botox, Juvéderm, Restylane, and laser skin resurfacing.

A New Jersey native, Dr. Karolak received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Rutgers College, where he was in the prestigious Henry Rutgers Scholar Program, focusing on research in neuroscience.
Dr. Karolak earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rowan University Osteopathic Medical School) in Stratford. He went on to complete a otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery residency at Saint Barnabas Healthcare System (now RWJ Barnabas Health) in New Jersey, which included training in head and neck surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. During his training, he was selected as resident of the year and chief resident in facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology.
