I am writing because I started laser hair removal in January. I have had good results to the fact that I have no ingrown hairs at all. After trying electrolysis I broke out and my skin was very red on my face. I had no irritation after laser and my skin cleared up. It takes getting used to the light flash but it's very fast and doesn't hurt like I thought. I am very happy with the results. more

I used to have very coarse hair on my bikini line, thighs and legs and very bad in-growths as well--I couldn't shave or wax. Pros: Freedom from shaving and waxing: Freedom to wear what you want, without having to worry about unwanted hair.
Cons: It hurts a lot but the results make it worth it!!
It is a lot of money in the short term, but if you look at your long term waxing costs, you are definitely spending much less. more
I have pale skin but dark hair. I used to bleach the hair on my upper lip, but started to have a reaction to the bleach. I also got an infection from the bleaching that stained my skin for a year! To top it off, I still had a moustache...just a golden blond one...
