After a lot of research and thought, I am going for it. As I am getting older, my hair is not as filled in on my eyebrows and hairline. One eyebrow is definitely worse that the others but they both definitely could use some more hair. I am getting about 300 grafts per eyebrow and 1500 in my hairline. Sept 29th is my date and will post soon after. AFter a few consultations, I decided to go to... more
I had been considering undergoing a hair transplant procedure for many years. In my evaluation of the different harvesting methods, I was always heasitant to do the strip method for the lack of recovery time needed to be away from the workplace and noticable incision scar [especially in the first few months post treatment]. When I researched the NeoGraft method, I saw the benefits of the... more
The pros about having this surgery for me was getting my hair back in the areas where I thought it was gone for good. The cons about the surgery for me was the swelling after the surgery which last about 4 days and the discomfort of the stitches in the donor area. My personal goal was to get my hair back, the outcome was absolutely wonderful. I have seen significant growth in the areas where.... more
Dr. Halaas is a dream come true for us who are concerned about hair loss, and her staff are like angles. I had absolutely nothing to worry about as they all are very nurturing and conscientious. They gave me the best advice as to how to go about the procedure as a patient during surgery. This was my first time seeing Dr Halaas, and my first impression upon meeting her for a consultation was... more

I stumbled upon this doctor's website and saw the countless pictures of before and after shots of patients and raving reviews about his work and the lives he changed. I decided to meet with him for a consult. After meeting... more
I did the procedure to improve looks, I did not like the way I appeared before the surgery. On the positive side my frontal view is much better and people have noticed and complimented me on that. The down side is being careful after surgery. I recently had my 3rd hair transplant, as of Dec.4 I am 6 wks post-operative. I had no discomfort for 3 wks and took only 2 pills given for pain and... more
Pros: Permanent hair replacement, you can comb thru and not obviously fake unlike wigs. Cons: Very expensive, the pricing was like $4/single root. Hair density is not the same as natural normal non balding hair density. But you can always go back to your surgeon and have more sessions to achieve good hair volume, but this always depends on the number or how big is your donor area (this is... more
