I had restylane injections in both upper and lower lips last week. I spent $900 for a syringe and another 1/2 ($600 full / $300 half). The first two days they looked very full due to swelling, and I would have been happy if they stayed that way for at least 6 months. Did what it was supposed to. Filled in marionette lines and I look 10 years younger. It was 550.00 for 1 syringe and it stung like hell even with the numbing gel, but I was brave.My Dermatologist is awesome. I had lipaugmentation, which did not budge the size of my lips. I got little lumps all underneath my lip, when asked the dermotoligist she said sometimes it does not work, she said the body can eat it up so to speak. i fin that hard to beleave and lumps are still there. PROS - Used it several times to fill out laugh lines and a little on the upper lip which has gotten a bit thin (I'm 45).  Really nice results and lasts a good length of time.  CONS - It travels! Started on restylane first time do eradicate a nasolabial line/pull left by Bell's Palsy. normal at last. had several needles, mainly on affected side, then a few on the other just to be completely even. aLSO can help with sagging and start of jowl. I am now a confirmed Restylane addict. I had a little injected into Nasolabial Folds which were not that deep but Oh my what a difference did it make for me. I had no swelling only redness for about 10 minutes. Afteward, went shopping & looked 10yrs younger. I've fallen for this product like I did with Botox so many years ago. I love what restylane has done to my lips. They look awesome! Full, luscious and shapely. I had pretty think shapeless lips and they were so bad that whenever i would apply lipstick, it would slip out of the lips. Lets just say i had no lips only. Restylane has shown some great results on me. It is quire similiar to botox  but it is a more natural procedure and does not paralyse the area like botox does. It doesnot make your face muscles stiff and the results are great. I got it done for my nasolibial folds and my skin has smoothed out well. I had restylane injections under my eyes about a year and a half ago. I ended up with a large bump under one eye and a small one under the other which not only looks curious but makes me look tired.
