I had my lips injected with Juviderm, two full vials, and some was added to my folds. The effect was great in the office. But it's August, 4 months later and my lip is pretty much gone. Not worth it. It was very very painful too, and I had bad bruising. It took a month for my lips to look normal, not swollen and bruised, but the effect only lasted 2 months. more
I see Dr. Miller every six months and am so pleased with the few minutes of needles. Not going to lie, they hurt a bit, but so worth it. The longer I go, the more he gets to know me and the procedure is quicker and very little bruising if at all. I have very sensitive skin and he is learning to work around it. If in doubt, try it once, you will be pleased and recommend it to your friends... more
I was expecting much more pain, swelling, and bruising , it was quick and painless ( I tolerate pain pretty well). I just iced my lips for a little bit and got half syringe for the first time. No black and blues , just a bit swelling. Will post more, after few days. Today is only day 1 :) p.s. I do get cold sore on my lips often so after the procedure doctor prescribed me Voltrex . more
My face looked gaunt, mostly near my under-eyes orbital and cheeks. I was 123 lbs at 5'6" and my face was showing it. I looked older than I am from it so I wanted to try the temporary solution of a filler. I wasn't sure I would like it and I knew it may wear off in 6 months or a bit more. It hurt a bit but he put lidocaine via small needle into the are that numbed it fast. What amazed me was... more
After having success with other cosmetic procedures using the same doctor,I decided to try juvederm under my eyes. I bruised terribly which disappeared after two long weeks, but for some reason it caused terrible swelling under my eyes. It looks like I haven't slept in days and everyone keeps asking me if I am ok...I've tried cold compresses, warm compresses, decongestants: nothing has... more
Juvederm was wonderful for the "parenthesis" around my mouth. I was not pleased however with Juvederm under my eyes. Under my left eye I was left with a huge bump for a couple of months and I now have what appears to be permanent bruising under my eyes! I have taken all the arnica I can with no help. I constantly look like I have been beat up!! I never had this prior to the juvederm... more
Had Botox in my forehead and frown lines. (I know this will take a couple of days to see results) And had Juvaderm in the nasolabial folds and in my upper lip. The Botox didn't hurt at all, the Juvaderm just stung a bit. I had no numbing cream or injection. I found it very tolerable. I was happy immediately. My Dr. is pretty conservative whereas she'd rather have me in for a touch-up... more
I had this done for nasolabial folds/lines about 6 or 7 months ago in Staten Island, NY....results were only a bit improved...but improved, nonetheless. She always rushes the patient and never uses any numbing cream whatsoever. Juvederm lasts 6 months and no longer, no matter what the hype or misleading televison commerical says. Don't be fooled. Anyway, since this borough of NYC is in... more
