Do I Have to Pay to Get Breast Implant Removal After Infection?
I'm having an infection on my left breast 4 weeks after the breast augmentation. My doctor suggests implant removal, however, he also ask me to pay a fee of 1,782 dollars just to remove. When I first felt something wrong, I went to visited him,he told me I was fine.It got worse and redness started to show, when I visited him again, he asked me to remove the implant, and there is a pretty big fee comes with it. I just want to know if it is fair.
A: Implant Removal after infection. This should be discussed with your surgeon. Compassion for you situation would subject you only to fees that are not able to be attributed to the surgeons fees. We dont like problems either. Your surgeon is clearly only charging you for the people involved to help you, such as the Anesthesiologist, OR Fees, supplies and drugs, etc. It is reasonable for you to have been told this in your preoperative agreement called informed consent. You will have additional costs when the implant goes back in as well. See if your surgeon can get the implant company to help defray some or all of the costs of that. Every little bit helps. Your surgeon should not immediately replace that implant either, a period of time sould go by for all the inflammation to have subsided once the implant has been out (6weeks).

Will Behind the Ear Hearing Aids Make a Difference for Mini Face Lift?
I am considering a mini face lift. I am a 70 year old female with very Little sagging for my age but I would like to keep up my appearance. I wear behind the ear hearing aids. Will the incisions interfere with the comfort and/or fit of my hearing aids?
A: Hearing aids and incisionsI have a little bit different view than my previous colleagues. I feel that the in ear component may have relevance for a Mini lift. Typically, I place my incision behind that little bump in front of the ear canal called the tragus. If your surgeon placed the incision in this locaqtion it will slightly change the shape of the location where you hearing assist device resides. Even small variations of you ear canal can cause an improper fit or pain. Neither of those options are good. In your case, placing the incision in front of the ear would be preferential. Good luck
