I've had nerve damage and PAIN for three years from shingles in left side of face. Would Botox help the pain ?
Absolutely Botox may have a high likelihood of helping with post herpetic neuralgia due to Shingles. It will probably fall under a Neurologists specialty. good Luck
I've been receiving botox injections in my forehead area every 4 mths for 11 Yrs without a problem until this year. Within minutes after injections I'm having difficulty swallowing. I don't understand why this would affect my swallowing since the only area I inject is my forehead. Could it be possible I might be experiencing some sort of reaction after many years of use?
I agree that the two issues are not related. There are many reasons for difficulty with swallowing (dysphagia), but Botox forehead injections is certainly not likely the reason. A simple evaluation by an ENT Specialist may get to the reason for your swallowing difficulties. Good Luck
I had Botox 3 weeks ago and like the results. I am still a little nervous, though, when I inadvertently rub my face. When can I safely massage or rub my face (as in a facial) and secondly, when can I assume I am safe from a drooping eyelid?
We recommend that you refrain from rubbing or physical activity for 4-6 hours after the injection. The injection will not migrate so feel free to proceed with massage or getting a facial etc. Good luck
