I would also like to know what else can be done... Thank you!
is it fairly quick and inexpensive to have an areola reduction? and is it ok to do before getting pregnant again? or should it be done after im all done with having kids?
Areola reduction is usually a straightforward procedure. Like any procedure, there are risks. There will be a scar around the circumference of your areola. I would place less emphasis on "quick and inexpensive" and more on "qualified and quality". It is your body, and this decision should not be taken lightly.
Your question also has to do with timing. If you are planning on getting pregnant in the near future, it may be best to wait.
Does breastfeeding cause the areola to change shape or look deformed? I'm a single mother of two and I've noticed some changes, but I'm not sure of the cause.
Size, color, and shape of the areola can all be changed during pregnancy and breast feeding. Most plastic surgeons would wait 3 to 6 months after breast feeding to do anything surgically to address the issues.
Always best to see your board certified plastic surgeon and together come up with a plan to meet your goals.
