Would I Be a Good Candidate for a Mini Tummy Tuck? I have had my children at the young age of 17 and the age of 20.I have stretch marks on my stomach but after losing weight I feel like stomach is begining to look worse.Im in good physical shape and have good muscle definition in upper abdomen but the lower abdomen never tightens up. In fact the skin there looks more wrinkly.Im not looking to get rid of ALL stretch marks, as there are some above my belly button but think if they could just be smoothed out, I'd be happy.I dont want wrinkly belly.

A mini tummy tuck will tighten the muscles of the lower abdomen and remove the excess skin below the belly button, the stretch marks above the belly button and in the skin that is moved downward below the belly button will remain. If you are willing to live with those limitations, then the mini might be an option for you.

How Far Up Do Mini Tummy Tuck Sutures Go? In a mini tummy tuck, do the sutures finish just before the belly button, or do they finish under the belly button?

Traditionally, the suturing of the muscles during a mini tummy tuck goes up to the belly button. If one wanted to, they could lift the skin above the belly button and sutures could be placed there, but it is not as easy to do as during a full tummy tuck.

Should I Get a Mini Tummy Tuck or a Full Tummy Tuck (photo) I am soon looking into a tummy tuck but I do not have all the lose skin allot of other women have but looks like my ab muscles are messed up allot higher then a mini tummy tuck would cover any insight you can give me would be great thanks :)

I think after looking at your photos that you could do well with a mini tummy tuck, the full tummy tuck would not give you a big difference over the mini
