I am looking at 6 procedures spaced 2 weeks apart. Everything I've read says less than an hour. My clinic says it will be less than 30 minutes. Is this enough time to see results?
In my office most commonly we perform Laser Genesis after a FotoFacial procedure, and in this case the two together last about 60-75 minutes. That being said, we do occasionally perform just Laser Genesis and those treatments typically last 20-30 minutes for the full face. If other areas are being done, like the neck, chest, or hands, then you'd need more time.
I have had RADIESSE® in my cheeks and Nasolabial folds,, Botox in my crows feet, and juvederm in my lips. Because the laser is a heat wave the penetrates the skin will this melt away my filler at all? Thanks for your time.
Fillers, especially Radiesse, are injected at such depth that it won't be affected by laser treatments. I suggest my patients wait about 48 hours post-fillers to have an IPL or Laser Genesis treatment. In fact, if you do have bruising or some swelling post-filler, the Laser Genesis can actually help resolve these faster. So that's an added benefit.
