I want to lipo the stubborn areas on my legs (saddlebags, knees, area just above knee or lower quad area) that I can't seem to get rid of through exercise. I'm 5'3" and typically weigh 113-115 lbs. I haven't had a consult yet, but I was worried that the surgeon would say that I wasn't a good candidate for lipo so I allowed myself to put on some weight. I now weigh 119 lbs. My question is, can a person of my weight have lipo? And should I go back to 115 lbs or put on more weight? Thanks!
I think a person can have liposuction at your weight and I do think that liposuction of the saddlebags, and inner knees can give a good result but the liposuction of the distal thigh can at times leave loose skin that is impossible to improve.
I'm 5'7" and about 120 pounds, and have a body fat percentage that ranges from 18-19%. I eat very healthy and try to work out. It seems though that no matter what I do, I cannot get rid of these little saddlebags, and it drives me nuts. I was in a dressing room today and could really see it because I was wearing skinny jeans and had a perfect view of my behind. That's when it really hit me how much I hate my butt!! Given my body size, am I still a good candidate for lipo to get rid of this?
I think with the information you have given, that liposuction would be a good option for correcting your localized fat deposits.
I have pockets of fat underneath my buttock, also known as the 'banana roll'. The area consists of a combination of fat and loose skin due to stretch marks. I've done a lot of research on possible treatments, but would appreciate a professional opinion to help narrow down the best procedures to smooth such an area.
That area is difficult to improve as liposuction alone will make the skin sag more and the buttock look more droopy and a buttocks lift leaves big scars for the trade off.
