What Are the Risks of Having Additional Mommy Makeovers After the Birth of Each Child?

A: What Are the Risks of Having Additional Mommy Makeovers After the Birth of Each Child?

Well, although it could be done, I don’t think going to that expense and risk after each child is wise. I feel it best to finish having the children and then move forward with the makeover.  I think that the risk that goes up with each additional repeat procedure is one of potentially more bleeding due to scar tissue and also loss of sensation of the skin.

What Are the Basic Elements of a Mommy Makeover?

Can I chose to have only part of the recommended surgeries during a mommy makeover?

A: What Are the Basic Elements of a Mommy Makeover

The most common Mommy Makeover is some type of procedure on the abdomen and one on the breast. The tummy parts could be just liposuction or a full versus a mini tummy tuck. The breast can be an augmentation, or a lift or both. The surgeries can be split up too at a patient’s request.

Want to Get a Mommy Makeover, What Options are Best for me? (photo)

I am a mother to 3 kids and and ARMY wife. I am 5'6" and 155 lbs, and am actively trying to lose weight. I am looking to get a mommy make over done next year in 2012 while my husband is deployed. I am not sure which type of tummy tuck to get, mini, full or extended. I am looking for the right DR to make suggestions. Also I would like some suggestions as if I should get liposuction. Was thinking about the flanks as well as the thighs and butt. And what type of breast lift would work for me?

As to the liposuction, it might give you a better contour with the hips and outer thighs done as that will make your buttocks look more round. As to the tummy tuck, at present, with no further weight loss, I would suggest a full tummy tuck. I think you have a little too much for a mini and not enough for an extended one.  As to a breast lift, I think you would likely need a lollipop scar. Please tell your husband thank you for his service too
