Let the patient know ahead of time the pain, so they are not so shocked and unhappy right after surgery. Make sure they KNOW the important after care information provided, and have them read it atleast 3 times just prior to surgery, so many are too excited and overlook the information, I spoke to several aftercare patients on my 1st visit that were having problems, to find out they did not really read and follow the instructions.

I am sure the other drs. are fine also but Vegas apparently does more of these procedure than other state sites so that was why I went with him and I read all the testimonials in my initial consultation.

From my initial consultation to my final post-op appointment, Dr. Lanfranchi and his entire staff were nothing but warm, professional and exceptionally competent. I never had a moment's doubt that I wasn't in the best of hands. Such expertise and self imposed standards of excellence are a rarity. I consider myself very fortunate to have had my procedure done by the very best team I can imagine.

All discussions I had with my doctor and nurses were about what results I desired from my surgery and what results the procedure could realistically deliver. I was also fully informed of what the procedure could not deliver. My doctor explained in detail how my particular procedure would be done, incision by incision, suture by suture. This allowed me to know that the surgery was precisely what I wanted, no more, no less. At no time was any emphasis placed on the quickness of the procedure, and I was never promised a "one-hour surgery." Botox and fillers could not offer the results I desired. But even if injectables had been an option for me, the cost of the surgery is easily just a fraction of what years of injectables would cost. I was also very impressed by my doctor's personal book of "before" and "after" photos. They all looked completely natural, something that was absolutely essential to me. I want to note here that there is absolutely no stretching, pulling or tightness around my mouth; that was one of my main concerns, the risk of looking stretched. I could not be happier with how natural my mouth and lips look, which is exactly as they did before the surgery.

My initial consulation was with Kurt, who answered all my questions and I never felt rushed or pressured. Dr L came in and told me even more about the procedures. Stephanie, the surgical technician set me up for the procedure and explained what I needed to know for recuperating. Dr L talked to me throughout the procedure and explained what he was doing. I never had to wait long on my follow up appointments and Dr L's entire staff are professional and caring.
