Hello, I am 5 weeks post op from having tumescent lipo on my abdomen and flanks.It has been a little over a year since I suddenly had the urge to pee all the time.Recently I have been peeing ALOT. i would say >20 times a day.Can this be from the lipo?My doctor has ordered an ultrasound on my bladder, pelvic and ovaries area.Can they tell I had lipo through the ultrasound?Its a family doc so I rather keep my lipo a secret. I also had a CA125 test done,will it be high bc of inflammation from lipo?
Liposuction does not cause frequent urination 5 weeks after the procedure. I would recommend seeing a Urologist, a physician who specializes in the urinary tract, to determine the cause of your problem.
I am frustrated I was a prime candidate for tumescent Lipo. I went to the father of tumescent lipo Dr. Klein himself... I am 5'3" and weighed 128 pre op. I weigh the same now. I had the procedure on my abs and flanks. My measurements are the same or down by maybe a 1/2". My jeans do NOT fit! It is INSANE! How is this possible if he took 3 lbs of fat out of my body.... I still have a pooch, and still have fat rolls (or muffin top) WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON!!??
There are 2 points that need to be made. First you are very early after your liposuction and there is still quite a bit of swelling. Second, based on your pictures, you have some separation of your rectus abdominis muscle that is referred to as DIASTASIS RECTI. Liposuction can not fix your muscles, you may need to have your muscles tighten in the future to fix your "pooch".
I had a Liposuction 3 weeks ago (May 26) on my love handles. I noticed that my right love handle is gone, but the left one is not gone completely. I know I'm still swollen because I feel sore and lumpy on both sides. I still have bruising on my left love handle, but it looks fatter.
Did my doctor left some fat in this area, or is this just swelling? I believe the doctor had to work on one side more than on the other (not sure which side though), would that cause the uneven swelling?
Swelling after liposuction can persist for weeks. The final result will probably not be realized for 6 months. No two areas swell the same, so uneven swelling is the norm. Be patient, it should smooth out with time. Endermologie treatments can help to smooth the swelling and improve the results of your procedure.
