Medispas have come around in the past several years and have routinely been associated with issues and problems regarding quality.  While their can be well run and pretty spas, the likelihood that you will have a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon is about nil.  That's because their method of operation is to run the spa in some mall like area, while the owner-doctor is away either being an emergency doctor or delivering babies.

While you may get a very nice nurse or even a PA/NP to do your procedures (whatever they are), you won't get the one thing you need and deserve - experience!  The results will be variable and the marketing (as in the case of the velashape), may be overhyped.  For example, in my clinic, while we do the velashape, we always are careful to let people know that it is a minor improvement and not even close to liposuction. 

You have already made one mistake doing this at that medispa.  Don't compound mistakes by going back to have another problem with the same facility.  Find a board certified dermatologist in your area who performs the tumescent method of liposuction and go with them.  Good luck!
