I Am 5'7" and Weigh 190lbs, I Carry my Weight in my Stomach. is Liposulpture Right for Me?
Liposculpture does not help with weight loss. The ideal candidate is thin, with just trouble spots and tight skin that is not too stretched out. However, most people who seek Liposculpture are not this way. A thorough evaluation is needed to determine how much if any improvement that you should expect to see from this procedure. How does liposculpting affect stretch marks?
Liposuction alone does not improve stretch marks in my experience. The best results that I have with stretch marks are to treat the abdomen with laser liposuction (internal skin tightening) followed by Skin Tyte (external skin tightening) then I treat the stretch marks themselves with a profractional laser. As with most procedures, some people are better candidates then others. Evaluation is essential to help you predict how much improvement you would expect. Good luck!
i am 2wks post lipo I had about 3.5 quarts of fat removed from my waist,love handles,lower/upper abdomen. I had 5 liters of liquid injected into me that day. I weigh a lil over my weight before the procedure. I am still swollen and lumpy specially int he abdomen area. I am very concerned about those bulges not shrinking down. i don't look much different than prior to the surgery. i have the same width and my love handles still look a lil aquared like before. help what should i expect at 2wks
Again, don't have weight loss be your goal. You underwent a body sculpting procedure so judge your outcome on your curves. Remember, when you have a tummy tuck you wake up looking very different right away. With liposculpture skin tightening and improved measurements take time. That is also the beauty of the procedure-- that no one has to know you had it done and you just keep get better and better as time goes on. Good Luck!
