How Many Areas Can a Full Juvederm Syringe Cover?

How far does a full syringe of Juvederm go? Would I have enough for my smile lines, top and bottom lip, and the crease in my chin?

A: How much Juvederm to use

One syringe of Juvederm is not very much, but it may be enough for you.  Everyone needs a different amount of filler.  Since Juvederm lasts around 12 months, you can layer Juvederm on top of Juvederm if you feel a need for more.  I usually start with a conservative amount, because I know I can always add more later.  If one syringe gives you the correction, then you have saved yourself some $$!

How Long Does Juvederm Last?

I've been researching how long Juvederm lasts, but what people say in Juvederm reviews and what the FDA says don't really match up.  Can someone tell me, how long does Juvederm last? Does where you have the Juvederm injections in your face make a difference in how long it lasts?

A: Longevity of Juvederm

How long Juvederm lasts varies from person to person and area to area.  My experience is that it lasts around 12 months.  Longer in static areas, shorter in areas with a lot of motion (lips).

Juvederm vs Restylane

From what i can tell juvederm is maybe better than restylane because it lasts longer. Is this true? Are there other things i should take in to account before choosing juvederm or restylane?

A: Juvederm and Restylane

Juvederm and Restylane are both Hyaluronic acid products, which occurs naturally in our interstitial tissues.  They are both safe and reliable with similar results and longevity.  Juvederm is made by Allergan (think Botox) and Restylane is made by Medicis.  Both companies are US based and reputable.  Use which ever product your doctor is most comfortable handling.
