is there something wrong with my forehead why is it as if swollen and fat please help......i have not hit my self or had any accidents please answer back thank you......or is it normal and im looking at my self too hard or im going crazy.
Your forehead shape is due to a prominent frontal bone. While it does result in a distinctive forehead it is one that is more masculine and would be much tougher to handle as a female. I agree this really is not that easy a problem to fix. Another issue is that the strength of the forehead makes the angle of the nose more severe. Softening that nasal angle may help camouflage the forehead. This would be something you could discuss with your surgeon in more detail. Good Luck!
What is the price range of a forehead lift, just approximately... is this procedure less cost than a full face lift or more?
Forehead lift costs vary widely, depending on the technique used, the area of the country, and how "in-demand" your surgeon might be. In the St. Louis area, costs would generally range from 4000-8000.
I would like to get surgery to burr the forehead bone to make it as flat as possible, as mine extends outwardly, and also to lower my hairline a little bit down. I would like to know do what type of doctor (if any) performs this surgery and how much it costs. Thanks.
Lowering the hairline surgically is a commonly performed procedure. Softening a prominent forehead is also possible; the degree of softening achievable depends upon the amount of bone available for "shaving".
This particular combination of procedures is most common in M to F gender reassignment (facial feminization surgery). If this is your ultimate goal, I would recommend seeking out a surgeon with particular expertise in this specific arena, as their esthetic judgment will be especially valuable.
