Hello to all:)' I have a kind bumps or shadow in my under eyelid in both of my eyes. When im tiread you can see better or when i have makeup on..I post picture for u see better wich area im talking about.. Do i nead lower eyelid surgery or is the ckeeks nead volume? Note:.If i strech the skin in the area and pull up the bump disapper. So what i nead to do? Thank you to all
I agree, the area you have outlined in black appears to be more of a festoon problem rather then the lower eyelid itself. Although these problems do not happen in isolation from each other, I would first start with treatment of the festoon (with deeper filler or fat). If not corrected to your satisfaction, then more aggressive treatments can be offered.
Don't for get about the rest of your face while chasing after the bags. Your festoons don't look too severe from the photo and you have other aging issues/asymmetries as well which all contribute to the look of your age. Find someone who will look over your entire face and offer a complete evaluation. Good luck!
I am 24 years old and suffer from under-eye puffiness. I'm in dire need to correct this situation in order to restore my youth and happiness and not hide behind my glasses as I've been doing for years.
Am I candidate for the less evasive Restylane filler? Or would you recommend full Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty? or im to young for this ? List Pros & Cons, Advice you can offer others.
All other things being normal on your exam, I would opt for the transconjunctival blepharoplasty.
I am usually not so adamant with my answers but from your story and photos it does seem like your under eye bags are more of a hereditary problem rather then aging. If your cheekbones are flat I would consider fat grafting as well. Personally, I do not like the results from filler in this particular situation. Further, you will be potentially be getting injections every 6-12 months for years!
Having a frank discussion with a provider you trust who can examine you is critical. How have they obtained their best results in similar situations in the past? What treatments work with your lifestyle and price range? These are all important questions.
Good luck!
I have one saggy eye lid it only started about 5 months ago and is worse when i am tired , i cant afford sugery and dont want to have it is there something else i can do !!
There is not a nonsurgical solution. However, upper blepharoplasties may be performed under local anesthesia and are not very expensive, in the neighborhood of $2000. You should be able to find an experienced surgeon without paying much more than this. Recovery is easy and the scars typically do well, so it's a good operation for nervous patients. You are best advised to have both upper lids treated.
