I get enough sleep, drink lots of water, and eat healthy. I have allergies and sometimes i get sinus pain under my eyes and on my head. The blefaroplasty will solve the problem of my bags under my eyes? thank you.
Generally speaking, if the "bags" under the eyes are present all of the time and not just during allergy seasons, a blepharoplasty likely would be helpful. "Bags" under the eyes can also be hereditary and are not uncommon in people your age. A consultation with a qualified surgeon in your area would easily answer whether blepharoplasty is the best option for you.
Had upper/lower eyelid surgery 6 weeks ago. Issue is persistent blurred vision - dramatic change in astigmatism - blurred and double vision both far and near sight. told cornea was scratched up a bit Big issue is 2me is vision loss - will it improve. Also lack of information online abt the real recovery time from this op. Can anybody shed any light on potential to recover vision loss?
It is not uncommon to have blurry vision for a few days after upper or lower blepharoplasty, often related to the eye ointment that was applied to the incisions. Rarely, blurry vision can last up to a week or two, but at 6 weeks, unless you are still using ointment on the eyes, would be very unusual. Combined with double vision, this is bothersome. You need to see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible.
I am a 28 year old woman with dark, sunken looking eyes. I have used Botox around the brow and to eliminate crows feet. When I retain water, my eyes look great due to the extra volume, so I am guessing that a filler of some kind would be in order. I am concerned about the type of filler though, as my skin is thin and pale. What would be the best procedure?
I would recommend hyaluronic acid for filling the lower eyelids and Restylane works very well in this location. Thin skin is not a contraindication if the filler is placed below the muscle, and done in small amounts per pass. Fat transplantation is also a good alternative for filling hollow lower eyelids, but again, it has to be placed below the muscle and not just under the skin.
