Hello. If I decide to have a breast lift with implants for how long would it be recommended for me to stay home from work? I am a daycare teacher. Thank you.
Typically patients after a lift and implant placement, in my practice, are back to work after a long weekend. With that said, I do not want my patients to lift over 20 lbs for the first 4 weeks. Thus, simply limit your more stenuous activities if you can at work and you will likely recover very well after a long weekend.
Have you ever performed the technique called "Lassus Vertical" for breast lifting? Were the results superior to other lifting techniques? Are the scars just as visible as other methods of lifting?
This is my favorite technique for performing breast lift procedures. In my hands it has been a very safe, reliable, and quick technique that provides for a very youthful appearance to the breast. I would not say one procedure is better than another, it likely comes down to which procedure your surgeon prefers. Make sure you see several photos pre/post from your surgeon before making a decision. Claude Lassus was a brilliant Plastic Surgeon who developed a beautiful technique to lift the breasts.
I have a D cup and I'm wondering how long will the lift (with no implants) last with no sagging? I understand they might sag again after pregnancy.
The answers provided by the previous surgeons are right on. Time is not our friend. In general smaller breasts with less volume will have a longer lasting result than bigger breasts after a lift. Pregnancy and weight fluctuations are the main cause of changes to a patients breasts.
