I gave Dr.Hardaway and her staff all fives in every category because they met my expectation everytime. If for one second I was beginning to feel nervous, doubtful or unsure of my decision somone(staff) would say or do the smallest gesture or offer more detailed information and that would put my mind at ease further reassuring me that I was making the right choice, choicing the best doctor and in good hands. I initially shopped around for doctors that performed BA using the TUBA method. I was disappointed when I was informed Dr.Hardaway did not use this method but I decided to schedule a consultation with her anyways. My decision was influenced by the fact that she was a certified plastic surgeon, genaral surgeon and was African American. I wanted a doctor that could understand the fact that my scars tend to heal hypertrophically. I needed a doctor that would know how to address and be proactive in dealing with that issue head on and know what to do to prevent or resolve the issue if it happened. I wasn't interested at the time in having a inframmary incision I was quiet sold on TUBA but after consulting with Dr.Hardaway, her knowledge ,insight and experince educated me on the pros and cons of different incision methods, the procedure and things to consider before and after the surgery. I have no regrets with my choice to have a BA. I am honored to say Dr.Hardaway was my surgeon! My hat goes off to Dr.Hardaway and ALL of her staff. They are a magnificent group of people and it is obvious they work cohesively as a team!

I choose Dr. Hardaway because I wanted a woman physician who evaluates a patient through a female perspective. I began seeing Dr. Hardaway with smaller procedures (laser treatments, etc.) and became very comfortable with her and the staff. I was then confident to have my eyelid surgery and that I would have great results

I was extremely satisified with my results from Dr. Hardaway. Each office visit was great, the staff is outstanding. I had devoloped a hematoma after surgery and Dr. Hardaway was amazing.. she got me right into the hospital to perform an additional surgery. The staff would frequently call and check on me.. it made me feel great knowing they were concerned about my recovery. I would reccommend Dr. Hardaway to everyone seeking cosmetic surgery.

Seem very approachable. Answered all my questions even as redundant & random they were. And personally return my call after office hours. Which means a lot. I choose Dr. Hardaway because a couple of reasons. 1: She's Local!!!! I didn't have funds to go out of state. 2: I'm familiar with her. She treated some other issues I had with past injuries and improved my scars. 3: I wanted a Black Surgeon. I would periodically google to see if any Surgeon perform this procedure in MI and my search turn out to land at Dr. Hardaway name but no one never responded to my emails. Well this time I called, and here I am 4 wks Post-op and feeling great and enjoying the new Me!!!!!

Dr. Hardaway is an awesome doctor. I had my surgery 1 week earlier and there were some changes per her request to get me the desired look I was aiming for. The staff was awesome and I requested pictures be taken of my final desired look in the operating room since she would only know what I would look like once all the swelling goes down which takes months. Can't wait to see the pictures at my post-op. Just an awesome experience.
