My skin colour is brown in colour, i want my skin to be fair ,is that chemical peel off helps to increase the complexion of my skin , whether any other treatment is available to make the skin fair , will chemical peel off cause cancer and whether it has any side effects , explain to me in detail
Chemical peels are used to rejuvenate the skin & reduce wrinkles & some pigmented lesions. They are also used to remove pre-cancerous skin growths known as actinic keratoses. Peels do not cause skin cancers !!!
This is the only week for the next four months that I will be off of work. I would like to do a TCA or Glycolic (I've had both before and tolerated them well) so that I have the next few days to peel in privacy. However, I have an appointment to get juvederm in one cheek and radiesse along my jawline later this week. Will having the peel make me more likely to scar? Thanks!
If you are having a superficial peel, it should be perfectly okay to have the fillers in a week's time. With fat transfer, it is not unusual to combine fat transfer with peel procedures in the same session.
I have had several chemical peels over the last ten years to remove deep acne scarring. My skin is baby smooth, but the last peel, which was done over 2 years ago, has left my skin permanently red where the peel was applied. Even under makeup you can see the redness in pictures. Are there any options to removing or toning down the redness.
A very good option would be a vascular laser as KTP laser, or Tunable Dye laser, or Nd-YAG laser. Another option would be IPL [intense pulse light]. Usually 1-3 sessions are needed. The results are excellent. If you do not want to go that route, a green-based make up would neutralize the redness.
