I am a 31 mother of two boys both delivered via c-section. I definitely am going to get a breast augmentation (not sure of saline or silicone). As far as my stomach, is there any other procedures besides a full tummy tuck that may be able to provide better results than the current state that it is in… ie, smart lipo, liposuction? I don’t want the tummy tuck scar. Thank you in advance for your replies.
Your photographs show that you have excess skin with stretch marks that continue well above your belly button. There also appears to be significant laxity of the muscles of your abdominal wall. This is due to the previous pregnancies you noted. This means that repair must include removal of fat and skin, as well as, tightening of the muscle. There is no good way to do this, unfortunately, without a scar. I would caution you that the stretch marks go up so high on your tummy that it is likely there will still be some present after your tummy tuck. You should discuss fully with your plastic surgeon how long your scar will need to be to remove all the extra skin. It is likely it could be designed to be concealed underneath the garment you are wearing in these pictures.
I've just had my stomach muscles repaired 9 days ago. I have a large bulge at the top underneath where the stitches are. Will this bulge go down in time?
Although we do not have pictures to review and we do not have a lot of information to go by, I think I know what you are asking. If the bulge is up high in you tummy, just under your breast bone, then it is likely that it will go away. I have seen this occur from lifting the skin which causes some swelling. Often it resolves on its own in about 6-8 weeks. This, however, would be a good question for your plastic surgeon. I suspect they will be able to put your mind at ease.
There is still a pot belly below the Belly Button and I have to wear spanx and while I am very fond of my PS, I feel that I should have been flat after such major surgery. Above the BB is fine. Is this my final result?
Without photographs and more information it is impossible to tell why you continue to have fullness in your tummy. The only way to know what happened and if this is "normal" is to talk to your plastic surgeon and look at your before and after pictures with them. Although in most patients the lower tummy with flatten with tummy tuck, it is abnormal looking if it becomes "too" flat. Also, there are several post operative complications that could lead to fullness in this area, such as a seroma, which is a collection of fluid. I would want to have my plastic surgeon examine me and have a frank discussion about this issue.
