I have saline mentor implants filled to 375cc. Within the last year I have gotten alot of rippling. It almost fills like they have deflated some and are not that full. Is this normal. My doctor says its because I lost weight. I need answers please
The implants are not extremely large but you didn't comment on how large you are and how long you have had the implants. Large implants in a small breast can cause thinning of the overlying breast and skin over time. This is especially true if you are otherwise a small person. If you have lost weight, is could also result in thinning of the tissues covering your implant and make it more noticeable. If the implant feels like it has lost tone as well, it could be leaking. Time will tell. Changing to a gel implant can help to decrease the amount of rippling that you feel. Sometimes with excessive weight loss, a breast lift is also needed. Hope this helps.
hi, I'm 5'8 135lbs. and barely a 34b. I am looking to achieve a full c barely d look with out having the issue of the breast hanging over the side.. Is a 380 bag filled to 420 to big? Please help i"m scheduled for two days from now...completely loosing sleep over this
Hard to know exactly what size implant you should have from the information you have given, but there is a way to get a close estimate. I would guess 375cc to 425 cc would make you a full c cup, but can't be sure without photos. I would suggest you go out and buy a 34 C or D cup bra. Go home a find a measuring cup and fill it with rice to about 375 ml and but the rice in sandwich baggies. Stuff the bra with them and try on different clothes. If they aren't big enough, add more measured rice. Whatever the final measurement of rice is should be close to the number of cc you need in the implants. I'm sure it will go well.
Is it common to have a breast augmentation scar one and half inches above the breast fold line? Or are most incisions right on the fold line? Did the doctor make a mistake if the scar is not on the fold line?
For our breast augmentation patients in Michigan, we often place the incision above the breast fold. This will allow you to wear a bikini, and if the bathing suit rides up your incisions will still be hidden. Also, the incision is often underneath the natural curve of the underside of the breast that way as so less visible.
