My 2nd hair transplant operation on temples was very successful. After four months, I began to see the transplanted hairs grow in nicely. I still have some pain at the donor site, but that will subside in time and with medication. Also, bumps have formed at the transplanted hairs, but they will subside within a week (don't irritate them or they will become sore and red). I should see the... more
I started this process almost 20 years ago having undergone a couple of the now outdated "Punch Graft" methods. The results obviously being very "pluggy" looking and I wore a hat most of the time as I had the same characteristics of a childs doll head/w hair. Two previous hair transplants had failed to give me the coverage and density I was seeking. Dr. Schreiber has a fantastic reputation in this field so I sought his consultation. The results of the second transplant is still in progress but the procedure itself went very well (not too painful). I also had gynecomastia surgery. I wasn't completely satisfied with the results so I... more
I had hairloss and didn't want it to get worse so I decided to get the hair transplant. I am very happy with the results but it took a long time to see them and it was more painful than I expected. Also the swelling and bruising was worse than I hoped. It was alot more than "some" swelling and bruising "might " occur. The sensitivity in my head did not go away for... more
I have no cons t report- the reason for havin gthe surgery done was due to a feeling of being incomplete ever since I bcame bald. I am estatic with the results! Anyone considering this procedure , IMO, should do it and ONLY have it done by my doctor- who has great bedside manners, excellent technique, and does a grat job of following up with you. more
