High Wide Forehead Reduction Possible? I have a high and wide forehead. Is a forehead reduction possible, where the skin at the corners will be pulled in to bring the hair line down? If so, what is the estimated cost and recovery period of this procedure? Thanks.

A: Reducing a high, wide forehead

Hi Jaco - Yes, a forehead reduction can be performed with minimal recovery and the cost is around $3-4000. The entire procedure can be done as an outpatient with about 1-2 weeks of recovery. It's difficult to determine how much forehead skin can be removed without assessing your scalp and forehead in person. The stitches are usually removed at 1 week with any discomfort controlled very well with oral pain medicine. Good luck!
