I Had Breast Reduction 10 Days Ago. What is Wrong with the Bottom of my Breasts? Is This Double Bubble? but I Had No Implants!
A: Lower Pole flatnessAfter a breast reduction or lift (mastopexy) it is very common for the lower portion of the breast to look flat or unnatural. This occurs because the sutures and most of the actual surgery is done on the lower portion of the breast. Initially after surgery these areas are stiffer and less flexible. As the healing progresses and the collagen is remodeled these areas will soften, become rounder and more breast shaped.
26 year old female. trying very hard to quit smoking (taking chantix) just started i am still smoking about 3 ciggerttes a day. also just stoped using cocaine this morning. have been a frequent user for a year 1/2. I used it every day but not a lot.recently had a ekg everything was normal, my surgery is august 17th this month, surgeon is a friend of family cannot tell him parents think i stooped last month. am i able to have the surgery still? what are the complications_please Help! Thanks:)
A: HonestyI'm sure you realize that both the cocaine and the cigarettes are dangerous to your health. It sounds like you're maing a serious effort to quit. Keep it up! Most important is to be honest with your doctors and especially the anesthesiologist. Frequent cocaine use requires different anesthesia for your procedure.
Is It Possible To Get Breast Implant Revision With Smaller Implants?
I am 5'7" 120 lbs and got 234cc silicone sub-pec implants which I think are too big! Is it possible to get revision surgery with smaller implants (about 200cc)? How long should I wait first and what are the considerations? Will the shape of the final outcome be affected by having had larger implants first?
A: WaitThe implants you now have are very conservative for someone 5'7" and the amount of reduction in the size of the implant probably would not make a difference. I would suggest you wait at least 3 months and preferably 6 months before asking to change the implants. In my experience, the women who feel they are a little too large right after the surgery, end up being the most satisfied.
