I had a fibrous popule removed from my nose 8 months ago. It has healed over but there is now a circular scar on the side of my nose that is red\dark. I had my dermatologist laser zap the spot 3 weeks ago to help reduce the redness but it only has helped a minimal amount. I have been reading about various types of plastic surgeons who deal with facial scars from surgical procedures, but have no idea what type to look into or if this is possibility for me? Thank you in advance.
Scar treatment included several options. Unfortunately, most scars cannot be eliminated by plastic surgeons but rather improved. Multiple factors determine final outcome. Only after a comprehensive evaluation can a specialist help determine appropriate options for you. Best of luck.

I Had the Lifestyle Lift and Was Left with a One Inch Long Keloid Scar in front of my earlobe, which is also out of place. How much would it cost to fix it?
Scar treatment after face lift surgery varies greatly. Generally, plastic surgery to treat scars range from $1000 to $3000. Other potential scar treatments include steroid injection and massage. Only after a comprehensive evaluation can a plastic surgeon help determine appropriate options for you. Best of luck.

i have 3 keloids on my shoulders which look very ugly . i cant wear sleeveless clothes because of them . please help me . i need a way to remove them.
If the keloids were caused by an injury then they usually respond to cutting them out and having a meticulous plastic surgeon restitch them. We could also use kenalog (cortisone like medicine) to help them flatten out and improve.
In areas like the shoulder, a keloid may not improve much because it is always under motion stress during walking, exercise, etc.
Meet with a board-certified plastic surgeon in person and discuss your options.
