I have had Radiess injected into my nasolabial folds every 8 months for the past 2 and one-half years. I no longer like the way it looks and plan on having a mini face lift soon. Thank you.
Typically, a mini facelift does not involve any surgery on the nasolabial folds. The mini facelift will improve the appearance of the jowls of the face and to some degree the neck. Radiesse is a very good, semi long lasting facial filler that will enhance the results of the mini facelift by providing augmentation to an area that would otherwise not be improved with the surgery. I see no reason not to proceed with your mini facelift whenever your schedule allows.
My aging genes are not the best. I am starting to notice my personal aging signs. Knowing a little about the field, I feel there should be no real "age limit". Isn't it acceptable to be on top of aging?
20's is too young for facelift surgery, including minilift. Poor skeletal structure may be present rather than aging. Better options to improve appearance of the jawline and neck may include liposuction and chin implants. Other aesthetic options to improve one's appearance at this age include such treatments as skin care, laser, light peels, or tretinoin. Only after a comprehensive evaluation by a plastic surgeon can he/she help determine appropriate options for you. Best of luck.
