The office staff and medical team were wonderful and I really like Dr. Jabs personally. Just off the bat, I want to admit that I did not probe too deeply into the details of the procedure itself because I am sort of a wimp about this stuff . So I can't complain or say for sure if I was adequately prepared but I take full responsibility for that part. My research was more on the recovery process and the doctor, the practice, credentials, etc. Having said that, I am very happy to say that so far my experience has been very good. My recovery, pain-wise is as expected. The worst part of the procedure was getting the numbing shots which to me felt like the equivalent of a juvaderm injections. During the procedure and since I have felt virtually no pain whatsoever. Just a little itching, some blurred vision (still) and some swelling, minimal. Visually, the second day I was a little shocked by the reddish/purplish black color of my eyelids which was somewhat alarming. It continues to improve daily so I'm not sweating it yet but I don't think I expected it to look so severe. I will post pictures of each day and will provide a weekly update.

My experience with Dr. Jabs and his staff was top notch and I highly recommend him to anyone considering plastic surgery. Again, I highly recommend Dr. Jabs, even if he is not in your local area and you have to travel to see him. Its your body, and you deserve to treat yourself to the best!

Dr. Jabs made me feel at ease with the process and his knowledge and experience in the field is what made me choose him as my surgeon. I had interviewed over 5 surgeons in the area and what made me choose Dr. Jabs was his honesty. He told me what he thought would look best on my body (breast augmentation size) and how 'natural' the breasts would look--not fake-looking like many I had seen on other women. I also liked the hospital facility he worked with. Though his price was a bit higher than some of the other surgeons I had spoken with, I still chose Dr. Jabs. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for," and I certainly did. I was very happy with his work right after the surgery and after 5 years continue to be happy with his work. I look and feel great and I truly am grateful to Dr. Jabs and his team.

From the initial consultation Dr. J was very open and honest as to what I could expect and he has an extremely pleasant disposition; I felt immediately comfortable with him. He explained why certain procedures would work better than others (mini versus full tuck) and put me instantly at ease.
