i had gynecomastia and a tummy tuck surgery 3 weeks ago, my doctor said he did liposuction, removed breast tissue and skin from around the nipples. yet i don't see much difference is that normal? or was the operation a flop? and i still have one breast larger than the other, the tummy tuck was acceptable i thought. what would you suggest and thanks in advance for your help
with liposuction you will have significant swelling. be patient. wear your compression garment. you will need to weight a good 3 months-6 months before analyzing your results. You likely still have swelling, and a lot of it will improve.
I am having Gynecomastia which is enlarged male breast and excessive fat tissue. I had this problem from my early 20’s. Now I am seriously thinking to remove this excess fat from my body. If there is any one out there had this surgery or used VASER LIPO procedure, can you help me out to find honest and reasonable doctor/ s rather than treating you as credit card machine and not delivering the service correctly as they indicates at the beginning. I read many articles about this system. Most of the people indicated that surgery itself was not too painful which I am ready for the recovery time. Your feedback/ s and help greatly appreciated.
VASER can be a good option for patients that minimal skin excess, predominantly fatty tissue in the cheat and minimal to moderate glandular tissue. Following VASER liposuction, if glandular tissue remains, an incision around the areolar can be used to remove excess glandular tissue and skin to give the optimal contour.
Hi I have had a gynecomastia surgery to both sides of my chest, but after a week the left side looked the same prior to the surgery. It has been 3 1/2 weeks now and the left side is still looking the same while the right side has decreased. What should I do?
There may be several reasons why you may be noticing asymmetry and they are best addressed by your plastic surgeon. Did you have an excisional procedure or just liposuction. If just liposuction is performed, it is sometimes difficult to remove the dense breast/glandular tissue and this might be what you see. There could also be natural differences in your chest that you are just knowing. You can also get fluid collections of either normal inflammatory fluid (seroma) or of blood (hematoma) that can be drained. Again, it is best to address these issues with your surgeon. Best of luck.
