lip plumpers sold at the beuaty counters are not making my lips poutier. What is recommended? Injections? Implants?
For years, many techniques have be performed to achieve fuller lips, but most of them have been only temporary fixes. Juvederm and Restylane injections are both easy solutions which, for most patients, give a correction which lasts up to a year. Unlike most of the procedures to enhance the lips, there is minimal recovery time with Juvederm and Restylane, and if an over-correction were to occur, it can be completely reversed with a hyaluronidase injection.
I used 1/2 of syringe of Perlane yesterday (used Restylane before) and immediately swelled up. Yet the swelling got a lot worse as the time passed. Now it's the next day and I am really freaking out; my lip is so swollen and can hardly talk and it's almost touching my nose! When will this go down? I have to work tomorrow, and I work at a MedSpa. I can't look like this! Is there anything I can take besides Ibuprofren to make this swelling go down quicker? PLEASE HELP!
I would ice, take benadryl, ibuprofen and give it some time. It should get progressively better over the next few days. At times you can have swelling after a filler is placed but it tends to improve fast.
I can't afford cosmetic surgery or dermal fillers to change the shape of my lips! My upper lip is shaped like an M.
I don't like to smile because my teeth show and people think I look mean because when my mouth is closed, it appears that I am frowning. Care credit is not an option.
How can i make my lips look normal without saving for ten years to do so?
This is my philosophy when it comes to these sorts of things. There is a correct way to do things and the incorrect way. To fix a problem, there is a solution and that is the way to go. Anything else will result in expense with no results.
