Cutlera Coolglide Had microderm + Revlite done 1st + veins Right after all was done I started having skin weeping Then had water filled blisters pop out .No redness ,no pain Edema on entire face bad,+ blisters that crusted golden. Went to doctors office 3 days later. She said it was impetigo.Did culture.Done antibiotics + ointment. Blisters healing, small round indent. No redness.Noticed small laser lines all over.Indents Same color as healthy skin.R these scars? Will impetigo scar?
The blisters you describe after any laser to the face can be viral infection as well. Viral infection can be superimposed with bacterial infection and if it goes deep then yes it has the potential to scar. That is why the treatment should be fast and aggressive for both bacterial and viral infections.
Recently saw derm for tt scar and it was so confusing said try everything from kenalog shots to bleaching creams then he used vbeam laser across my tt scar - i had 2 laser tx before that seemed to help, but this time i have big welts and bruises across the scar and i am concerned. Can vbeam cause scars or will this go away? Also the long scar looks indented right now where it seemed flush with my skin before! My ps did a great closure but i was talked into vbeam for slight redness help!
It sounds that you wanted some improvement in your scar. So you saw a dermatologist, discussed kenalog, ther modalities and V beam. WHY, you were happy with your plastic surgeon whay not discuss it with your surgeonwho did a good job?
Now you have some issues, return to your plastic surgeon and discuss your options
Im on a low dose of accutane. No facial laser treatments, but can i have a light laser treatment(yag)for a few tiny spider veins on my LEGS? Or should you not have laser on any part of your body while on accutane? Is there a difference between laser on face or legs, concerning healing? Or can i just stop taking it a week before treatment and restart taking it after the laser treatment? Will it have adverse effects on the healing results of my legs if i take the accutane after the laser treatment?
If you are on accutane you should avoid any procedure that possibly can burn the skin epithelium.
There is enough data in the litarature that accutane delays epithelialization and delays wound healing.
