I've ways been very self-conscious about my nose. Now finally, at 32 years old, I was able to schedule my rhinoplasty. I had my consult on June 9th and had my surgery on August 25th. I'm happy with my results so far, but at 12 days post op I know I still have a lot of changes ahead. At this point I feel like it's a little more turned up than I would like, but I'm trying to be patient.
I am ready to get a new nose. After all the search I have done for months. I have no doubt, Dr. Kofi Boahene is the one. Based on before and after photos, especially after the Skype consultation, I am confident he can deliver and I believe he will make my dream comes true.
I will keep you update guys.

Hi, everyone! So, I've been lurking around this site since I decided to have rhinoplasty and have found a wealth of info that has been helpful and decided it was time to start my own review. I have shared my decision to have surgery with a lot of people but if anyone sees this then I guess they will know. Like most of you, I have always felt that my nose has dominated my face and wanted to... more
Hi guys! I wanted to write about my experience because I found other reviews to be helpful, but couldn't find anyone else who had the combo of procedures I had done. I am getting a breast augmentation, rhinoplasty and umbilical hernia repair.
When I was younger I really liked my small boobs-- I never had to wear a bra, could wear low cut tops without looking vulgar, and felt that they... more
I have always wanted rhinoplasty because I had a big, thick Middle Eastern nose that was some what masculine and I wanted a more feminine nose. I went to 2 doctors total. Dr Le was the 2nd doctor I went to after going to Dr. Naderi in Chevy chase ( which by the way is way to hyped up)- he charges way too much and doesn't listen to you. First, it took me like a month to get Dr. le's initial... more

So im having rhinoplasty today. I am so nervous and scared, I don't know what to do with myself.
I found realself when I was interested in getting a bbl. I am still considering a bbl but im not ready to commit to having it done just yet.
I have hated my nose for as long as I can remember. Thanks to constant teasing as a kid it is a big insecurity for me. I have always been afraid of... more
I can not thank Dr. Le enough for my new nose! He is very caring an takes pride in his work. Dr. Le schedules plenty of time for you consultation and you don't feel rushed. He spent two hours explaining everything and answering all of my questions. He is a perfectionist so you know his work is as close to perfect as possible. I am very happy with my results and would highly recommend him to... more
I went to Dr. Capone in early 2010 to discuss Rhinoplasty. I had trouble breathing and was unhappy with the appearance of my nose. At the time of surgery, I had a Chin Implant also, which Dr. Capone had recommended as a compliment to the Rhinoplasty. I am so happy with the results! Worth every penny that was spent! more
I'm soo excited to begin my 'Blogging' or 'documenting' phase of my rhinoplasty journey. Although the actual procedure will probably be done in a years time or a bit longer, i have found other peoples reviews, updates and progress reports soo helpful that i decided to do one myself.
I am still in the early process of saving, but i am definitely looking into the different surgeons... more
I am extremely pleased with the outcome of a recent surgical procedure conducted by Dr. Le of Baltimore-Washington Facial Plastic Surgery, and am very happy to provide a review of this experience.
As a teenager some 40 years ago, I broke my nose in a ‘rough-housing’ accident. I have never been particularly pleased with the visual effect of the break and followup surgery to realign the... more
I have a consultation with Dr Boahene on the 15 th Jan in regards to a rhinoplasty. This is a procedure I have always wanted done and at the age of 28 I have decided to give my body a major overhaul and renovation. I like to call the whole process "Project Phoenix"
I have an authentic Black Caribbean nose, which consists of a wide round nose, with little to no bridge and thick skin.
My experience was wonderful! Dr. Papel and his staff were great and made me feel very comfortable about my whole procedure. They did before shots and showed me what my nose would look like after the surgery. I was so pleased to see that it turned out exactly how I wanted it! They were very professional and I was very impressed with the whole process I went through. My recovery has been great... more
I always hated my nose as it grew bigger as i got older. i come from a family of really ugly and wide noses, and i hated it. I had rhinoplasty, and when the splint came off, it was gorgeous, but it keeps changing everyday and it looks like my old nose somedays. However, i did tell my PS i wanted a subtle change,a nd that's exactly what i got, but nosw i feel like i want a drastic change... more
Today is day 4 post op. I felt well enough today to create this review and I am so excited to be doing so. I haven't felt much pain at all just some discomfort. I haven't needed to take any of the major pain medication at all. I had taken no pain meds first day, only Tylenol the second day for headache and sinus pressure, third and forth day no pain meds. This surgery was completely worth it... more
I am still very swollen, but happy with the results of my rhinoplasty so far. It's so much better than what my nose looked like before. It wasn't a painful procedure, however, the only issue I have is that feeling of something stuck in my nose. My doctor narrowed my nose and removed some fat from my nostrils. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I had my primary consult w Dr Thomas Le in Baltimore! Went really good. He is the type of doctor that asks you what you want not what he thinks will look good, very methodical, in asking you questions about what kind of results your looking for, will not promise to give you a nose that is unrealistic,he wants to make sure you are very realistic w you're expectations, I think if someone went to... more
I had a tip rhinoplasty done over 6 months ago by a very highly regarded local surgeon. The results are imperceptible and in many ways my profile looks worse. And what they don't tell you, or what I willingly overlooked in my zeal to feel better about myself, is that your breathing will likely be restricted. I snore now and exercising is very challenging since my nose constantly feels... more
Hi, in 24 years old.Ive always hated my nose. Always. Was made fun of since I can remember. My newfoundland dog broke it when I was younger, and that just made matters worse. I can not wait to finally look the way I want to, regardless of who thinks I shouldnt have this proceedure. Im super nervous, anxious, and constantly reading these blogs. My surgery is a week from tomorrow and im already... more
After actually scheduling the surgery, my own nerves took over. During the pre-op appointment, I was given a pre-op"manual" and a nurse walked me through what I should do to prepare, what the surgery day will be like and what I could expect in my recovery phase. I was also given a pack of vitamins with serve as a homeopathic way to prime your body for surgery and recovery. I think these... more
