Crescent of Mole Left After Scraping, What Will this Look Like When it Heals? Will it Grow Back?

I just got a small, portruding mole above my upper lip scraped off by my dermatologist a few days ago and I just noticed that it appears a crescent-shaped piece was left behind. What is this going to look like when it heals? Will the mole just grow back?

A: Moles

Moles should never be scraped, shaved, or destroyed. They should be removed surgically and submitted for pathology examination. As for the remnant that you have , you need to discuss that with your dermatologist .

Will Local Anesthesia to Remove a Mole On My Chest Puncture my Breast Implant?

I have mole on the inner breast cleavage area and need to have it removed. Is there any chance they will puncture or pop my breast implant by using a small needle to numb to area? I am very worried and don't want to take any chances of them doing this , but also afraid of having skin cancer?

A: Local anesthesia injection will in rupture breast implant

Since I do not know the size or exact location of the mole on your breast it is difficult to tell you the exact risk of implant rupture.  But with a board certified plastic surgeon who has knowledge of implants and breast anatomy performing the mole excision would carry little risk of implant rupture.  Hypertrophic scars in this area however, are known to occur.

He's Italian (dark hair dark eyes), 28 years old, and spent a few years using the tanning bed and natural sun. This new mole is located on his stomach and is asymmetric with a darker color in the middle. No one is this family developed melanoma except our great aunt. It looks big in the pic, but it is only a tiny seed size, like I s

A: Mole

There is enough changes in this mole picture that warrants immediate examoination by a plastic surgeon for full excision and submitting for pathology.

The changes are

irrigular edges

irrigular color
