I had a lump removed from my left nipple when i was 17. they made an incision around the bottom of the areola and removed the glandular tissue, and there wasnt really a need for lipo. It healed up fairly well and it looks alot better than it was, but it has never fully returned to normal. There is no hard tissue left under the skin but it is still puffy and bigger than the right side. it is even noticeable through a t shirt. im not fat but would burning a bit of bodyfat help this?
After gynecomastia surgery, the persistant puffyness of the nipple areola can be caused by many caused, excess breast tissue, scar, or fat. A physical examination can determine that and a plan for correction can be discussed with you
i have Gynecomastia and i had Gynecomastia surgery 10 days ago. My photos are at the attachment. My both breasts has collapsed. as like crater. Can you tell me fix itself in 3-4 mounths. Otherwise i have to undergo an operation again. my physicology worse and my english too. thanks.
Though it is too early, because you still have some swelling. But it seems that too much breast tissue was taken, and I do not believe any liposuction was done.
The design of the incision makes me think this was not done by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon (American Board Of PLastic Surgery)
Consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for full evaluation and treatment, Liposyction of the chest and possible fat grafting, or local tissue transfer.
What is the risk of hypertrophic scars arising over the skin after a male breast reduction surgery? Obviously, I'd rather not have visible scarring.
The risk of a bad scar from gynecomastia surgery is very low. it would really be the same risk as any other surgery you would have. If you have a tendency to form thick scars already than I would be more concerned. Gynecomastia surgery would not increase the risk.
