I have had two of the six scheduled treatments for age spots and broken capillaries on my face with Fontona's Nd:YAG laser. Fotona calls this their FRAC3 laser method. While the broken capillaries are better, my age spots are much, much worse. So much worse, that I'm truly worried about continuing this process even though I have prepaid (I know, dumb!)for 6 treatments. Will this get better or should I expect even more age spots showing up with more laser treatments? And yes, I use sunscreen religiously.
Wait for 4-6 weeks and see how the results are. If no change stop the treatment and seek a good Plastic Surgeon who does the work himself/herself and not a technician doing your treatments
I'm thinking of a TCA peel or Fraxel Restore for my acne scars and redness. I am a frequent international traveler. If I do TCA, I will have to fly out a few days later and won't be able to see the doctor except for a brief check-up two days later. If I do laser, I will have a couple of months between treatments, instead of a couple of weeks. Is it safe to do TCA and then leave the country? If I do laser, is it effective to wait a few months in between?
The best and most effective treatment for acne scars is Laser resurfacing. It requires about two weeks for recovery. TCA does not affect acne scars.
Fraxel laser is WORTHLESS, You can have as many treatments as you want but it will not improve the acne scars. Carbon Dioxide laser resurfacing is gold standard.
I have been considering Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation, but I am confused about who to go to for the procedure. I have asked the doctors about the procedure and which laser they use, but there seems to be a variety from Erbium, Diode, CO2, or Yag lasers. Which one is best for the procedure? Is there a specific brand or company so I can call to see who is using their system in my area? Thank you.
Vaginal rejuvanation can involve multiple procedures:
1: Improving on the appearance of the mons pubis, as in lifting;
2: Reduction of labia minora size when excessive;
3; Improving on the appearance of the labia majora, reduction, enhanacement;
4: Vaginal tightening. This is a function of relaxed pelvic floor muscles, which need to be addressed and not only the mucosa.
The laser is a gimmick created by the LVR fellows to collect $50,000 for so called training.
See a board certified plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.
